Ya know just when Kabam actually communicates not just in forums, but on the game itself about the delay and timeline of rewards, what does the community do? Find a reason to complain like it’s a hobby. I got mad respect for Kabam for actually putting a notice on the event in the game that there’ll be a delay in rewards, shows transparency. But the one thing the community complained they weren’t doing enough of, when they actually go and do it the community responds by complaining???? This is a hilariously embarrassing display the community has yet again put on. For the 6 millionth time, rewards are delayed for the purpose of cleaning leaderboards of modders and cheaters. Don’t like it? Sign a petition to let the modders and cheaters get rewards too so everyone can get their rewards “in a timely manner.” Can’t wait to see the awesome rewards you’ll get when the modders and cheaters are allowed to get rewards😁Hope you’ll post them in forums

We’ll never know how much or even if the rankings were affected by modders/cheaters since kabam does not make this information public (so much for transparency). That’s why players have been asking for live leaderboards for years.

What does transparency have to do with lambasting?

It’s common knowledge that just about everything from bugs and the like to grievances like these are the fault of modders and cheaters. Remember when servers were extremely slow and crashing, modders were breaking the game. It’s not rocket science. Kabam doesn’t need to tell us that info cause it’s not our responsibility to take care of it. Anything we would do to these modders and cheaters would be harassment and/or more serious crimes depending on the person and they could take Kabam to court for it. It’s not our responsibility to take care of the modders and cheaters so why do we have to know who are the ones doing the modding and cheating.

Just because you want to know who is cheating or modding and you can't because Kabam won't tell us, doesn't mean it's them not being transparent. You don't have the right to have that information. If you want to know, get hired on for a position that knows.
I never said I wanted to know who the cheaters are. I was speaking to the OP’s point that our rewards are effected by kabam removing cheaters from the rankings. My point is we don’t know how or even if removing cheaters affects our rankings because Kabam doesn’t inform us on the number of people they catch and how it affects us directly.

Is that common knowledge? Because it is wrong.
If you’ve paid any attention to global chats or even allowed yourself to think and make the 1+1 connections then yea it’s pretty common. But please do enlighten me on how wrong I am…

I'm pretty sure you don't realize you're talking to Mr DNA 3000 word minimum posts who knows the ins and outs of the mobile gaming industry. I'd say they are more qualified than mcoc global chat on how servers work.
I honestly couldn’t care less if he’s the next president of server technology and is gonna revolutionize mankind as we know it. But if that’s the case he has yet to explain it to me. There hasn’t been an excuse great enough to condone the level of ungratefulness and complaining this community has shamelessly put forth. If he has such an excuse I’m dying to hear it…

How did your post go from complaining about people complaining to tin foil hattery saying every bug and problem with the game is due to people modding?
Not complaining about ppl complaining, just pointing out how trashy the community is and how y’all act like entitled brats, also if you’ve read the thread thoroughly then you would understand why the discussion deviated from the main point I was making buddy.

I’m no expert but my educated guess is that players can only mod/hack the client side of the game and all the bugs and stability issues are a result of problems originating on the server side of the game. There is a big difference between the server side versus the client side
Even if you’re not an expert I appreciate you taking the time to explain it brodie. Now is there a possibility for a player to affect a server cause I seen a modder/hacker say something about doing stuff that can affect the servers.

I love the detailing how games work from people who get there information from unreliable searches. I bet you're a medical expert as well.
Appreciate the sarcasm but I prefer informational, constructive replies

Servers aside cause I’ll admit I’m wrong and I’m not educated in that area and went by word of mouth, why exactly does the community refuse to cooperate and be patient with Kabam when #1 they told us there would be a delay (even in game) and #2 we know exactly the reason as to why they delay is happening, it’s nothing new. I’ve just seen too much complaints and not enough of “oh I see you did that Kabam thanks for that.” It’s a constant cycle of bombarding Kabam with a “Such insolence, you dare make me wait for rewards” attitude.

And this isn’t just for banquet, it’s literally every single time AW and BGs end. The impatience level is beyond embarrassing.

I read the majority of this thread, I've been playing 9 years, and its comical to think that players at fault for Kabams sub par service. Kabam is not a friend, they're a company, you're not defending anything tangible, just a group of buisness people who will, and have in the past, only compensate players if there are apt complaints, with public outcry that threatens the image of the company, I.e if you dont get in the way of their bottom line, nothing will change. Comments that are overly defensive towards corporate interest make the game objectively worse, do not encourage this if you actually like the game.

Oh, my bad, there's so many titles, just double checked in game, and I got that "account is at least 8 years old" title called Protector of the Multoverse around Christmas, I think that means this is technically my 9th year playing? Maybe its my 8th, I forget man, but its a long time

I play the game, been playing for a while now. Objectively the ppl that are working to help the game stay afloat are still human beings. Sure it’s a business entity, but the community makes it seem like they don’t listen at all in which case that is a lie. They’ve communicated just like we wanted, the community is the one who can’t meet them in the middle.

I don't think its fair to compare the most outrageous players to the moderates, yes a buisness and corporation is made up of people, but they embody an entity, with specific guidelines, rules etc. They quite literally can not just help us even if they'd like to, they have to go through the hoops and get authority to say what they say, and do what they do. I think the individuals should be treated humanely of course, they're just doing their job, if anything I'd like their conditions to be better, since that improves the game, I'm sure plenty of changes in the interest of capital went against many of the artistic creators in the company. Speculation aside, I can't read their minds after all, it's important to treat them critically as their speaking through a filter, one that individuals devoid of corporate entities and influences are not limited by, and thus they require convincing that passes up the ladders and allows changes for the better of the game to be approved.

You are aware that Kabam is not some small mom and pop business that tries their best but a multimillion dollar company right ? I am honestly curious about your kind of people who get offended on behalf of corporations and defend them . It’s just so bizzare to me . Are you American by any chance ?
