Banquet rewards delay/aw

Kabam y’all have said banquet rewards will be delayed. What kind of delay are y’all talking about. The delay will run into the start of new aw season if it’s like bg rewards delay. Need to look into pushing back aw season if not you will be putting many alliances in a bind and then scrambling with aq going at the same time. But aq is an easier fix an alliance can drop to map 5 for a week.

What i don't get is how and why delay an event that already has so many constraint to even participate? I just was able to claim and buy GBC 3 days ago as my alliance timer to participate ran out after 10 days as i joined the alliance 14 days ago before that. So why delay? It's not like players are going in alliance with their alt giving ally points and then taken out. Why delay Unnecessarily. Just start calculations like you guys do for AQ and then give out rewards in 6-7 hours period that seems logical. They can be extra careful for top 5000 but let us all peasants get the rewards fast. Who are gonna be the bottom 70%

You only need to participate in 5 wars to get season rewards. The off-season was already pushed out 2 extra weeks. So if you have to switch even after the first war, you'll be fine which I'm sure many players are in the same boat.

I doubt there will be as big of a delay this time because the ability to commit fraud or cheat in the event is much smaller than last year.
You aren't an officer/leader of an alliance are you?
Let's say that 3 people would switch out of your alli post rewards... not only do you have to find a replacement, which will not be easy mid season, but you'll have to update your AW def (best case scenario only for one BG) which is not an easy task, especially with new people + assign them a line in AW and make sure they will be able to complete it without dying.

So saying "it's no big deal if you swap mid season" is absolutely wrong.
This right here. I am not switching alliances. In a top 90ish. P3 alliance. Alliances don’t want to be struggling to find recruits after the even. It’s a lot of stress on the people who recruit for an alliance. And now it will be super last minute recruiting for alliances and no one is really looking because they are not going to tip there hand to current alliance they may want to leave and that alliance retaliate against them and kick them. (Not our alliance) but I am sure there are some out there like that.

@Kabam Miike any word on if you can leave or be booted from an ally in which you participated (and were eligible) throughout the event and still get the ally rewards for gifting? Some of us ally leaders want to make some changes for aq/aw but also have a conscious and don’t want to screw people over.

TLDR; can someone get kicked today and still get Ally rewards ?

That's why I switched alliances before the banquet so officers would have plenty of time to recruit someone, and if anyone is planning on switching alliances in high tier alliances, they should have told their officers awhile ago to give them time.

I never said "it's no big deal". Also, 1 war isn't mid season.
Well that was what you wrote.
But it might not be just one war, if they take a week from today to get it done, at best we would be in the middle of the third one. However, even if it was just one war... it does not change all that I mentioned. You still have to look for people in season, still have to redo de def, line assingment and AQ, if you play map 7/8.

As long as they dont get rewards, the delay is fine, we can’t keep complaining about cheaters and moders and cry when the rewards are delayed.
For now this is the best way Kabam has to deal with cheaters maybe in time they find a better solution without the need for a delay in rewards but for now, its good to know they are on this.

Agreed. It is what it is...make the 'difficult' choice with respect to the rewards/timing and keep it moving.

It's amazing to me that it's never the players fault. If you were/are planning on switching alliances, why wouldn't you be in constant contact with them, planning all this out. There's no rule that says you can't talk with the alliance you're switching to and get it all straightened out so that when you switch, it's seamless.

I would like a better idea of when the cheaters will be removed or even under control and things go back to normal, they have been around a very long time. So late rewards is the normal and rewards on time are not 🤔 seems a little backwards.

Tbh to complain about delays is just ridiculous at this point. We all know why they are delaying it, very valid reasons to delay it too. If the alliances are in a bind, a lot of it falls on them for poor management and impatience. If y’all are okay with the modders and cheaters getting the rewards just say that. Modders and cheaters find ways to break a system no matter how good the system may seem, especially the determined ones who do such things for the fun and pleasure of ruining the hard work of others (there are ppl that are like that). I think it’s too extreme to constantly harass Kabam for something that #1 is mostly out of their control because they can’t force a human being to stop doing what they want and #2 they are clearly trying to figure out ways to handle and the only way that seems fitting to handle it is to cleanse them from leaderboards when an event is over. So honestly I say just be patient, they shouldn’t have to keep going through the same questions and harassment for every event because of the community’s refusal to cooperate with them.

This nonsense makes me want to quit. It was the same with the last Battlegrounds season too.
