Mythic and legendary crystal shards

Havent seen these for a couple months. They started being parts of rewards months back but stopped after a month or two. I know that there are selectors for mythic and legendary crystals vs 6* and 5* shards in side quest, but does anyone know what happened to the shards in general. Kind of a useless shard crystal to have if we wont be able to form any more. Not too hyped about them, but just wondering what happened.

    The 6th milestone in the 28 day solo event Alliance Wars is 2500 Mythic Crystal Shards. It requires 26,250 points.

    Maaaaaan ion event want those crystals, but 4 months of grinding for 24 iso sounds absolutely dandy to me, anyone have a really active alliance?

    Solo event milestones for AW Seasons have them, and sometimes side quests do (2022 Lunar New Year had 888 Mythic shards, for example). Those are the main places I have seen them but it is a slow accumulation.

    These should be completely removed from the game and save the servers from some pointless stress.

    Mythic and legendary crystals are completely awful and have no reason to be in mcoc.

    They wouldn't be as bad as they are right now if you could frequently obtain them instead of waiting 4 months to form a mythic crystal
