TB difficulty should have a full t6b and t3a. Cav Difficulty should still have some r4 mats

Same reason an uncollected player needs 6* shards. It’s a slow build. Now to be fair, TB difficulty should’ve existed a year ago and paragon difficulty introduced now, so then I wouldn’t have been an issue, but that’s retrospect. If u ask players would they rather do less for less rewards or more for more rewards, I’d best most would choose the later. That question was never posed to players. Instead, their rewards were just taken away.

6* shards for Cavs is not compatible to R4 mats when they can't even R3 someone regularly or even become TB. You're delusional

@Kabam Miike Why not leave the TB exclusive objective in the objectives as motivation for TBs/Paragons to do Cav difficulty? A 6th EQ difficulty introduces an additional ~1400 energy spendature for EQ explorations on top of the pre-existing ~6800...

8200 energy per month takes 28.5 days to refill for Sigil players, and 34.2 days for non sigil players if no energy is wasted at all... so at minimum F2P players would need to spend 14 energy refills if they wish to complete all the TIMED content... this spend does not account for the energy they need for the side quest, Battle Grounds or catchup on any Story/ back issues / special quest.

I will admit TB EQ has great rewards (for current meta)- but it is not future proof with t6cc or 7* shards... additionally the 55% R4 matts offered has left a sour taste, as we already were getting ~30% without going out of our way... now we are getting ~55% at the cost of an additional 1400 energy... (aka only a 25% increase for 1400 energy + our time to grind an additional difficulty)

Because theoretically your not supposed to 100% all eq difficulties per month. Your really only supposed to do what you need for your account at the time. That means doing the hardest 2 maybe 3 difficulties. And if you really really need the 2-4* stuff then run lower ones .

Totally agree with this. TB level reward is not bad but you have to compare it to what was there before. The fact that it only adds additional 25% of T3A and T6B (which is the main resource paragon players really care about) for another whole quests to explore just make it felt not worthy it and I rather have the old Cav with objectives back. It feels this is not an improvement but actually worse.

To get all the units on offer... 150 per difficulty x 4 x 12 months = 7200 extra units for things like gifting/ July 4th/ Cyerweekend every year

It was a placeholder for TB+ because they didn't have exclusive content until TB difficulty arrived. You now get the same amount from the objective plus 50% more from 100% of TB.

When Cav came out, we weren't really doing UC anymore because we wanted better rewards and UC was boring.

All TB+ can do this new difficulty. I can do it with no problem with a 5* R5.

Y'all have got to stop thinking they removed the objective. It just moved to content rewards.

Cavalier players didn't have access to Rank 4 Materials. Those Objectives were Thronebreaker exclusive content that used the Cavalier difficulty because there was no Thronebreaker difficulty at the time.

@Kabam Miike umm, my bad! 😁 lol… but by that same logic, let’s get a paragon objective that makes each month equal 1 full t6b and t3a 👍🏽

Kabam really did not need to remove the objective (as if they are already offering 1 R4 mat from Incursions, having an equivalent amount in EQ is not game breaking)- thus leaving it in would not have created the sour taste/ backlash they are now getting

There should be more rank 4 mats but not in cav difficulty. I'm aware there's plenty of sources outside of monthly quests but just focusing on monthly right now you're looking at two R4s per year through TB EQ. Given that EQ rewards don't get updated often these rewards focused on the top player group in the game lack in the main area of interest, how bad is that going to look 2-3 months from now, much less 6+ months ahead? One full of each catalyst feels more in line with the games current state imo.

please re-read where I say that doing cav still provides a resources to grow accounts... even paragons (like myself) do still rank up 6* champs from r1->2->3... regardless of there being r4 mats in cav or not, im going to be doing that difficulty... however this change reduces the rewards I would have gotten in previous months for spending my time doing that... thus reducing motivation for many... previously I was spending 1400 energy for 30% r4 mats + others... now im going to be spending 2800 energy for 55% r4 mats... yes that's more, however its still at a reduced efficiency than was previously possible... having 75-100% r4 mats available from EQ would have eliminated the validity of the complaints the community is raising

Doing all Difficulties is never a requirement. It's actually a daunting undertaking. If your reasoning is Units, the amount of time and energy (also "E"nergy) that requires isn't worth the 150 Units. You could get 1000 Units a week, give or take, from playing the Arenas.

Personally I run the lower EQs when I have Energy to spare, for a few extra Units, but it's not a reasonable way to earn them in general. It's better to focus on the 2 or 3 Difficulties that maximize Rewards for where I'm at, and consider the rest frivolous.
  • asgadionasgadion Member Posts: 55
all difficulties until chapter 3 of uncollected was easily doable by my team on autoplay previously (im hearing another issue the community has is Kabam buffing the lower difficulties and reducing peoples ability to auto play them)...regardless, the lower difficulties have been a passive unit income while I was working on other priorities

(aka only a 25% increase for 1400 energy + our time to grind an additional difficulty)

Because you should be doing TB difficulty now. The plan was to get rid of the objective anyway when the new one came out
Goal of any game developer is to have players spend more time in game... by removing the objective for TB/Paragons it removes their incentive to do cav difficulty... thus players spending less time in game (thus this change and your suggestion goes directly against the interests of the company)
    They
    Didn't
    Remove
    The
    Objective.

You are missing the point... now just to get 25% more R4 mats than what we were previously getting part of monthly rewards now cost 1400 more energy, as for me cav still offers a decent amount of shards/ rss I want to expand my account... however because of this change, the motivation to previously do cav has been reduced... Kabam really did not need to remove the objective (as if they are already offering 1 R4 mat from Incursions, having an equivalent amount in EQ is not game breaking)- thus leaving it in would not have created the sour taste/ backlash they are now getting

You're wrong. You're only required to do the TB to get the rewards.
No point in continuing this convo with someone who fails to read my full comments and understands the issues/interests that underlie the conversation... or perhaps willfully ignoring them for the sake of his argument

Main point: Kabam unnecessarily reduced the rewards for the effort players were putting into doing CAV difficulty... leaving the TB objective as is for exploring Cav is what players who still wish to do cav difficulty are wanting...Dont reduce the rewards previously offered for doing one difficulty by players to bolster the rewards for a new difficulty.

This could have easily been avoided if the amount of r4 mats was great (closer to 75% - fully formed R4 cat) as it would be more than double than previously offered for double the effort people looking to expand their roster are now going to put in.

To the point "dont do cav"... it is in no game developers interest to have their players stop doing content in their game
