Relic vs Battlecast

What's the difference between a Relic vs a Battlecast (if any). The game and everyone refers to Relics, but when you open a Relic Crystal it says you received a *insert champ name* Battlecast

A battlecast is a type of relic. When relics were released, kabam stated that they were only going to release battlecasts for the time being and add different types of relics later.

Batlecast is a type of relic. Currently all the relics released are battlecasts, and indicate that the relic includes a striker. There's a chance we'll get relics in the future that don't have strikers.
