So, assuming that is the *only* potential level increment of what you can get of Units from this trade-in crystal. (Compared to say the normal Battlechips crystal that has 2 different potentials, 15 Units vs 45 Units, which over there are somewhere between a 2x1 and 3x1 ratio between those 2 potentials).
Although if your pull here was indeed the higher potential for this Quest Trade-in crystal (if there is such a “higher” and “lower”), then BIG Congrats.

But assuming that's the standard amount, and at it's mentioned 1% chance for that Trade-in crystal. Then extrapolating that down to the regular Quest Crystals, they would average out to 0.1 Unit per single Quest crystal (or 1 whole Unit per set of 10 Quest crystals at a time).

Not much of a time saver, as opening 100 normal quest crystals goes very fast nowadays (no interrupting pop-up offers, can continue opening from same screen, etc)

I just did 500 total normal Quest crystals.
5 rounds of 100 (each round being 10 sets of 10 at a time).

In all, I got 45 Units (and 16 Small Energy Refills, for those wondering), which averaged to 9 Units per 100 (which is the trade-in amount, 100 to 1).

So basically 10 Units average per Trade-in, which at earlier shown 1% drop rate would equate to a 1000 Unit pull as the assumed minimum potential amount (and what the OP actually pulled above).

At every point, it seemed like the minimum incremental I was getting was always 10 Units at a time (at least, within each usual set of 10 crystal openings) .
.. until the near the end of the 4th set of 100 when I got a 5 Unit pull, tossing that theory out the window.

A 10 Unit minimum for normal Quest ones (and actually getting on average just one of those 10 Units pulls every 100 crystals) would have lined up perfectly with the 1000 Unit minimum potential for the trade-in version.

So maybe the “spread” between pulling 2 different amounts in these Quests is reversed from the spread we see in the Battlechips crystals (approx 70% lower Units, 30% higher Units).
Maybe in these Quest ones, the NORMAL (higher chance) amount is the higher 10 Units (or 1000 for trade-in), and the alternate potential (lesser chance) is actually a smaller amount of Units (5 Units, or guessing 500 for the trade-in version). ??

Looking at your crystal openings, if I add up the other rewards I get 97 for the first batch, 99 for the second, 100 for the third, and 99 for the fourth and fifth. This means the actual unit drops you got from those quest crystals was two fives and a ten from the first batch (the only way to get 20 with three drops, assuming they are all fives and tens), a ten from the second batch, a five from the fourth batch, and a ten from the fifth batch. That's three drops of five units and three drops of ten units total from 500 crystals.

That's not enough data to show a skew between the low and high drops, although it is reasonably consistent with a roughly 1% drop rate for units in general. Which suggests to me that the published odds for the sigil quest combo crystal probably matches the drop rates for the standard quest crystal, but with scaled up quantities to roughly match the net return from those crystals.

@DNA3000 , yep, I noticed that afterwards too.

So that one 20 Unit set was really 10+5+5 (not 10+10).
Which make in total 3 hits at 5, and 3 hits at 10.
Could indeed be equal probability of a Low vs High hit, but yes too small to actually tell.

But it does show that OP getting the 1000 option (instead of what may be a lesser potential of 500, if they kept the scaling the same) does indeed maybe it extra rare for him to have hit (potentially a 0.5% chance on that single crystal).
