I haven't heard, but my guess is that everyone that is trying to get out of VT is finally out (the more serious players) as they were pushing since the end of the season is upon us. Just a guess though.

Just a guess though. I agree with your guess, by now everyone who wants to be in GC is there. However, I still can't understand why people think they have to get matches close to their rosters for it to be "fair" when we are all competing for exact same rewards. My meaning of fair is not getting matched against opponents based on prestige number.

So then why not let the heavyweight boxing champion compete with the lightweight right? Its the same rewards.
Did the BG Matchmaking Get Changed? I've been having a lot fairer matchups these last two days.
You call one side having 3x Damage and the other side having 3x less a fair measurement? Seems like one side wants to default to a Win instead of earning it.
The 3x Damage is a loose example. You have Nodes, on top of the difference in Stats between Ranks, and you also have differences in CRs. The higher the CR, the less Damage you can do. It's a combination of factors that makes it less of a true measure of Fight vs. Fight. As for earning it, that's all ego-based. You don't earn Rewards in BGs because you've played for years, and done X and Y in other areas of the game. What's the sense in even having a competition if that's the case?Scoring doesn't account for any of that. You get 3 Fights to have the best of 3, with the same metrics in a couple minutes. Not "I made it to Paragon, I did Abyss, I...." etc.You win your Fights in BGs. That's how you earn Rewards. You don't win, you don't advance.
Fair matchmaking. Game thinks he is a good match for me. 2.7mil rating account vs 6mil. And I was matched with him twice in 4 matchesOfc this is a victory track. If lower roster are playing only lower roster why I am playing with him. Ah ok I know. He has got similar prestige so it is fair….
It's not the "same" Rewards. It's the same payout. There's a difference. Same payout is possible if Paragons win their Matches as well. For some reason, that's a travesty unless it's against Accounts that are lower than them.
Placebo effect. But if you’re saying we aren’t getting matched based on prestige, what’s the metric then for matchmaking now? My personal take is that metrics like prestige or even deck rating is needed for Victory Track. But it’s anything goes once you hit Gladiator Circuit. It’s a participation trophy for anyone who runs VT but it’s every man for his own once they’re in GC.Seen several threads of weaker accounts complain about matches they get in GC, my message to them is that there’s no free lunch. Git gud!
