Actually it is. Which they've indicated here many times. The only outcome is a 6*. Not any other possibility. You have just as much chance to pull Sasquatch as you do Absorbing Man. I've been around many years, and the conspiracies never stop. People either believe the truth, or they don't. The truth is no one is keeping anyone from pulling what they want. It's RNG.

Kabam has stated many times that every champ in the crystal has an equal chance and that the pulls are not weighted. I've opened 16 and pulled a featured champ 5 times:

Absorbing man - 3
Shuri - 1
iDoom - 1

Other pulls were one each of Sasquatch, Civil Warrior, Mr. Sinister, OG Spidey, Gambit, Sun Spot, Daredevil, Overseer, Agent Venom, Ant Man, King Groot.

It's random.

Kabam has stated repeatedly that every champ in the featured crystal has the same chance to appear. If people choose to not believe them, that's their choice, but adding such verbiage to the crystal odds screen is unlikely to convince any of the hold outs.

Also, it is always illegitimate when one of them gets bad luck. It never matters how often anyone else gets good luck, because good luck is an anecdote, bad luck is data.

I know many other things for sure about champion crystals. I know that while I cannot prove champion crystals are absolutely perfectly evenly random, I have opened enough of them to know that most of the *ways* people claim they are broken are false. For example, the featured crystals are not skewed away from new featureds. I have a couple hundred openings of featured crystals to be able to determine that no such obvious skew exists. If it exists, it has to be small enough to not show up in my data, and anything that small isn't going to be noticeable by a player opening a few crystals. I know there's no strong skew away from "god tier champs" because that also would show up in the crystal data I have.

Whatever skews could possibly exist, they would have to be small enough to evade detection. And I've seen enough crystal openings to know that "small enough" is too small for any one player opening any small number of crystals to be able to detect with just eyeballs. You'd need thousands of crystal openings to detect such a small skew.

We can never know if the crystal is absolutely random, because there is no test for absolute randomness. In a random crystal, all sequences of drops are equally likely, which means even unlikely sequences will happen over enough openings. All we can say is how closely the crystals deviate from what we'd expect random crystals to generate. And across all data that doesn't contain biases, that range of possibilities is very narrow.

I opened nine. The first 3 were Ant Men, the next two, Civil Warriors. The last 3 were two Spots and a Shuri. So yes, it s RNG.

Even if they wanted to state that in-game, there's no trivial way to do so succinctly in every language the game supports in an unambiguous way that would not be twistable by the conspiracy nuts.

They could, for example, state on the 6* featured "every champ listed drops evenly from the crystal" and that would be wrong, because every champ doesn't drop evenly. Every champ as an equal chance to drop, but by definition it is extremely unlikely that every champ would drop an identical number of times. If we say "every champ listed as an equal chance to drop from the crystal" the tin foil hat brigade could argue that Groot drops more often because there's two different Groots in the crystal, each with the same chance to drop. We would have to say something like "each of the twenty four champs listed in the crystal contents has a one in twenty four chance to drop per crystal opening, with each crystal opening generated independently and each crystal opening having identical drop mechanics for all players regardless of account status."

And then you would have to translate that unambiguously and without nuance errors into all the other languages besides English. And *then* the crystal crazies would resort to saying that since the Featured crystal contains this disclaimer and the other crystals don't, this proves the other crystals must be rigged, and that's why Kabam was deliberately avoiding placing the same disclaimer. So you would have to do this again and again and again, modifying the language to take into account rarity distributions (which are stated and not equal) and basic pool updates and featured odds and nexus crystals.

And even if we did that for all crystals, we would then have to counter the fact that bugs sometimes happen, and every time a crystal is bugged in such a way to not behave identically to the extremely lengthy pedantic crystal mechanics description, this would be ammunition to the deRNGed that since the crystal doesn't follow the description exactly all the time, the descriptions can't be trusted at all.

Or, we can dispense with all of that and just say crazy people are going to be crazy, and we just have to tolerate them and/or ignore them while we go on with our lives.

Feel you bro. Spammed the last one for QS, out of what had to be about 50 I got a total of three featured, none of them QS, a sig 80 Thor and sig 100 Groot, both of whom I didn't own at all before I started opening. Didn't dupe three of five champions that I had and wanted duped either.

At least I farmed quite a lot of 7* shards on that.

Yeah. The drop rates are all RNG based. They all have a chance to drop evenly, but, like @DNA3000 said, they are purely based on luck. Though it may feel unfair, the drop rates are all randomized, and its just a matter of how lucky you get

Yes. 100% chance to get a 6*. Just like the 6* Crystal. There aren't any other odds to post. There isn't an increased or decreased chance at any specific Champ in that Crystal.

If so, your luck has improved. So of the latest 14, you got 2 new ones ? Still below average, but better than first post, and still statistically probable (actually 40 crystals of the very exact same champ for all 40 is technically possible too, doesn’t necessarily mean conspiracy)

Kabam official statements were previously shown in your prior crystals post. In these type of crystals, NO champ has better or worse odds than any other champ.

7/24 is a 25% chance if it's purely rng. That's 1 in 4. 3 in 40+ shows that it is absolutely not pure rng. Lol. So if it's not. There should absolutely be a 'featured' odds declaration. I don't see it anywhere in the crystal. So I'd have to assume it's intentionally dismissed. That's all. My dumb butt kept buying them. Done now forever. I'll wait until gen population releases. I'd suggest the same for all y'all.

1 in 4 doesn't mean you're literally guaranteed to see one in 4. Each time you open a Crystal, you have a 6/24 chance to pull a new Champ. For the purpose of your example, 7/24. It's not cumulative. That means a 25% chance (actually 29%) everytime you open a Crystal. Which means you'll have a 71% chance of not being a Featured. Each time. The server doesn't know you didn't pull one last Crystal. It doesn't care frankly. You open a Crystal, and it generates one of 24 possibilities.
