Can we all agree these are the most useless addition to the game since relics. (Please argue about relics elsewhere)

Seriously though, these are a total waste.

I think selling emotes for cash rather than units is a mistake. Especially seeing that 3 emotes are $7.99 and apparently that’s half off. So you’re telling us that normally these three emotes are going to be about $16?

It really is such a shady propaganda strategy. This is the very first time they are selling it and all of a sudden it's half price, as if it ever had any value registered prior to this time.

Emotes are a staple in a lot of competitive games/game modes. They're a way to playfully communicate with your opponent and they come conveniently paired with a mute button; two taps and they go away!

Emotes are, as intended, an aesthetic add-on with no impact on the rest of the game. Their implementation is, similar to relics, meant to allow uninterested summoners to ignore them. They're there for the people that like them and want to use them, and can be easily circumnavigated if you don't!

Can we get a permanent Mute option in the settings ?

not interested in emote or in toxic communication from my opponent and don't want to have to mute every opponent every time i do a fight...

You’ve made it extra easy for most people to ignore them cos you’re charging $13(Aus) for them. Absolutely ridiculous! Kabam is so out of touch with what MCOC players actually want in the game, it’s laughable.

I'm not using them.. i have them turned off but opponents are still able to send them...

Being allowed to spam them continously during the draft phase is certainly not "Playfully communicating", it's just childish and damn right infuriating. Yes we can mute them, but we have to hit then 2 taps every single match. Give us an option to permanently mute them like we can with global chat etc.

You must one of the lucky ones then lol I try to mute each opponent but of course I forget to do it and end up being spammed with them ... a lot 🤦‍♂️

Uninterested players who ignore Relics are at a disadvantage on this month’s Skill cavalier map. It would be one thing to keep power rate the same and then add a bonus burst of power when activating a striker. But reducing power unless you use a striker you’re allowing players to ignore them as you stated there were meant.

Hopefully this isn’t a sample of future content that relies more heavily on relics.

Gotta be honest. You can mute them easily. But I enjoy lamenting when the rng gives the opponent the perfect answer to the defender I just chose. And then doesn't give me any answers to theirs despite. I mean. When I get the chance to choose my own champs that is. #lag
