Looking for tips for 5.2

Hey I've gotten to the point where I'm quite confident I can no revive 5.1.6 and I'm looking for tips going into 5.2. things like nodes to expect and how to prepare for them, best champions in my top 15 to bring along, and synergies with those champions/if you would only recommend that synergy if I also have a 4*+ of the other character.
Notable champions not in my top 15 are a 4* nebula, guardian, hulk buster, warlock, and a 5* she hulk

    Ok this is pretty useless advice my guy. "Do side quest" I already have. "Dupe herc" you mean that thing that happens entirely randomly and I have no control over? "Rank him up+stones" we're still talking about the herc I can't control when I duped and is at 4/40?? "Go forward" what??

    Does act four give a generic awakening gem? If so I would give that to herc and take him up to rank 5. I’d take falcon up too since he can shut down a lot of annoying nodes and champions. Then I would bring champs you enjoy using and are comfortable with along with someone with immunities. 5.2.1-5.2.3 are pretty simple. 5.3.4 and up get more complex and I would recommend practicing several times before your final run. Stock up on some boosts and serval revives and units for the grandmaster and possibly watch a video so you’re more familiar

    Thanks! I don't remember seeing a generic awakening gem for act 4 but it's been a month or so, so I'll definitely check. Any tips for stocking up on boosts, or just unit grinding so I can buy them?

    It’s for 100% completion I believe so a bit of a time commitment but you can use it to grind arena for some units. I’d recommend at least a thousand cause you don’t want to get that far on the grandmaster and have to quit out halfway. Boosts are in a lot of the alliance objectives so that’s a way to get some for free.
    Also if you can take a five star or two to rank four it will save you quite a bit of units and revives.

    5.2 introduces nodes like Flare, Buffet, Masochism and Bane. There’s some other but those are the ones that typically throw players for a fruit loop. While champions at 4/40 or 5/50 CAN take on 5.2, you may also want to hit up the event quests and side quests for more champs and rank ups as it will be a big step up in difficulty. Rank 2/3 5* and more 5/50 4* if you can. As much as I hate recommending Herc….. yes he’s very useful. Falcon’s AAR will probably be helpful for Masochism, Quicksilver is good against Buffet… it’s been a very long time since I’ve explored 5.2 so I can’t really remember exact encounters that are pain points. Expect to get stuck around 5.2.4 though (and don’t feel too bad about it if you do, because almost everyone does their first go through)
