P2 ally matched with top p1? How's that fair match

Why always such matchmaking keeps happening after every 1 or 2 wars. ..
can we expect anything fair & righteous in this game..???

Do the war ratings match? If so, it’s fair.

The last season’s placement doesn’t reflect how an alliance is currently performing. If you stripped all of GT40s members out of their alliance and replaced them with P3 players they’d get slapped.

If this P1 alliance lost their first 2 wars they’re probably sitting at the bottom of P1/top of P2 currently
