Would red magneto work for Grandmaster?

I haven't started going for TB but was told by many people to prepare a GM counter early. Magneto is immune to reverse controls, but GM isn't metal. Should I wait for a better counter or start taking up Mags?

    Why not both? Red mags is so useful in his own right.

    Yes he will work, but it's going to be a long fight. You can watch MSD's video, he used magneto for Grandmaster once. My suggestion is, use a heavy hitter to speed through the first few phases, then when reverse controls comes , you can use mags. Though the reverse controls aren't that bad, if I were you, I'd just cope with it.

    Try using doom or corvus if u have one. Or warlock stealthy and aegon. Mags is already good for maximum content in the game, so u can rank him up, but not for GM fight, unless u r confident u can easily fight GM with mags

    I don’t believe magneto is immune to reverse controls, just has the tag psychic shielding, which is different. And if you have a doom or herc, they’d be much better.
