Is Gorr worth ranking if I run Recoil Masteries?

I just pulled Gorr and I also have a cosmic awakening gem. I find him fun but he seems to get shreded by Liquid courage and Double Edge and I don't want to turn them off.
Should I rank him up and awaken him? I have all relevant cosmics awakened at r4 or r3 except Hulkling and Galan (Herc, Knull, CGR, CG, Venompool, and yes, I have a r4 Venompool 🙃, etc...) . Should I invest in Gorr or wait for one of those (Galan or Hulkling)?

    I have mine r3 but just couldn't use him with suicides on. I recently took my suicides temporary off and have been having fun with him but with suicides, I find him extremely difficult to be sustainable with suicides on.

    If u aren’t gonna turn off suicides then don’t waste the gem and recourses on him, wait for the galan or hulkling or Angela if u don’t have her but either way he’s just gonna tick himself down to death with suicides on. It’s too bad, I like him but not gonna turn suicides off just for him, now if I didn’t run them I would rank him up for sure, fun champ.

    I have Angela but sadly only sig 40 and I am investing in Omega Red currently...
