I’ve been playing for over 7 years straight and in total easily spent over 8k on this game over the years between cyber Monday and July 4th offers and I must say this will be worst than 12.0 , Kabam should be asking themselves why are people farming revives to beat content and how can we make the content challenging but let taxing( 2 plus million health 10k plus attack n crazy node combo) on players between input issues and the improvements on A.I speed and reaction time and let’s not forget champion acquisitions yes it has gotten better over the years but still not where it should be, if you’re going to be changing revive farming then consider taking a look at overall content because I stay online and watch the best players( YouTubers) in Mcoc farm revive for content so if they’re farming tons revive when u take that away what does the average player that's trying to progress do hmmm oh let me guess there will be more deals for revive $$$$$ , I really hope Kabam reconsider or at lease communicate with players and find a middle ground
I fairly think this is one of the best decissions they could make, content is done too easily by people that are not even skilled enough to do it just spamming revives, so this encourages people to try to learn how to really play the game properly, not only this but makes the challenging things challenging, when people is able to do this content the first day it goes out just spamming 60 revives that means that something must be done, If anyone thinks that 2 revives PER DAY is not enough, that only shows how bad people became. Getting revives became way easier than before, so I think is fair to nerf the amount we can get by farming them.

This will be the last straw for me. I don't even revive farm but this is unfair to the community. Kabam knows how much I've spent. This whale is standing up for the little guy. You can keep your 375 health potions that are useless.

From your comments I can tell you haven’t done carina or any hard content. And definitely not recently. So tell us oh wise one. How is 2 revives. And mind you it’s not a guarantee a day. It’s again rng. Which they say they trying to get away from gonna do the hard content?
I know perfectly how hard that content is, farming for a quest and a mission 2 single revives that will take you a little amount of time everyday for 14 days to do a good run for EoP I think its pretty fair from Kabam, not mentioning the RNG revives you could get on the quests and on daily crystals, so you could use at least 15 revives + 28 stash revives, you dont think 43 revives are enough for a player that is doing the content meant for him? Then that means that you are not talking about the people that the content is meant for, you are talking about everyone like everyone should be able to do EoP or Carinas Challenges or Gauntlet, etc, that content is CHALLENGING content for the BEST PLAYERS.

So 2 revives a day WITHOUT taking account on DAILY CRYSTALS, 1-5% DROP RATES, and also the fact that you can farm UNITS to BUY those REVIVES.
Seriously, we are getting an AMAZING amount of revives frequently if we want them, and we are using MORE than we should.

Why does the title of this thread keep changing each time it’s merged? To the mod who’s doing this: just name it something like “Revive Farming Change Discussion.” And keep it at that.
Okay so to fix this, if we can’t stop kabam from removing this from the game then we should definitely see a lot of these things changed/added to the game.
1. Revive/health pot inventory cap to a 100 of each consumable
2. Increase drop rate of revives in 4hr crystals massively (above 70% for a revive either level 1 or level 2)
3. Lower cost of revives and health pots. Using 30 units for an energy refill as a solution to not using 40 units for a revive is insanity consider how much time we have to spend in game already. In fact kabam doesn’t even have to lower the level 2 revive, allow us to buy level 1 revives for 10-15 units.
4. Put questing revives and health pots in the glory, incursions, battlegrounds and loyalty store for those specific currencies.
5. Add level 2 revives in the 24hr solo goals final milestone
So I guess Kabam is going to nerf the price of revives to 1 unit or 100 gold? That would make sense. I don’t understand why there are potions at all. All content should be progression locked, and reviving with full health should be free. Keep the content really difficult so that people would pull their hair out while reviving 100 times to beat stuff.
Kabam has been anti-player for years now and this is just one of the examples. Instead of fixing a broken game, they remove ways we can save money on items. Not a pro-player move whatsoever. Battlegrounds is still broken, cheaters are alive and well in the arenas, parries & dexes work when they want to, A.I. is progressive (but “never changed”), game lags 1-3 times per fight, and so on and so forth. Just watch as champs like Hercules or Kitty don’t ever become available as 7-stars. They’ve held off on Quake as a 6-star… she’s too pro-player. Every time Kabam moves one step in the right direction they take a giant leap backwards. I don’t understand the sabotage here. This update is completely unnecessary.

I’m definitely on board with them throwing this whole thing out the window, I’m just asking that if they are going to make changes (which we can assume they are) that they at least push pause until a full circle solution is found instead of pushing garbage and hoping to cover it up with perfume later.

Part of me feels like I’ve been playing for 8 years so just keep going.

thank you, I just think the timing of this sucks I bet a new chapter for book2 is prob on the way or another difficult content, I just wish they gave more of a notice and just increase revive cap to like 30 and increase revive drop rate from 4 hour daily crystals that would be meeting players half way lets double revive drop rate in 4 hour crystals and increase cap to 25-30.
How can you introduce this change and leave LOL and Abyss as they are? They literally force you to spend hundreds of revives (especially with the carina challenges). Who can even afford to buy that many items with units?

My point is you are nowhere close of preaching to other players how they need to get better or even talk about everest content. I have done Carina in first week that came out by spending countless hours of grinding revives. Now with this new change all players who haven’t done it before nerf it will take them at least 5-6 months of grinding revives. This only affects players who are grinding and not whaling, whales will complete after nerf in first week any other upcoming everest content without no issues. I dont think i have to explain it further. So how does this good for the game and not good for Kabam in milking whales?

I wanna thank Kabam for giving me the reason I was looking for so long to finally quit. Bugs, modders, broken inputs and now this. This game is gonna die in less than 15 months if decisions like this continue to be made.
Its terrible, its horrible... Just make your peace with the game... Ride it out and when it stops being fun or feels like U can't keep up.. just quit it .. .at least that's what I'm gonna do.. no point on argueing or giving feedback on a decision that was taken without feedback.. this is a complete flashback from 12.0... I mean.. all this complaints and the increase on stash cap was a "scapegoat" for compromise...
Let’s recap all things. - God like AI doing things that we can’t do like punch us mid combo, launch a SP without the correct amount of power. - Input controls galore - EQ difficulty increase that no one asked for in uncollected and below. - New champs that punish you in every way possible unless you have the exact counter in the game. Oh and that counter will only be available in to BUY with a chance of getting it for months. - Take away all the best places to farm resources so when we don’t have the exact counter, or the AI messes us up, or the Input controls don’t respond we can at least clear the content.
In summary. Pay to play. Not sure how an 8 year old game has failed to make enough money at this point.
Maybe the answer is not do Everest content that forces you to burn through a ton of revives/resources?? That's what I do. I'm 5 yrs in, 1 r4 6* away from Paragon, initial completion of 8.1 done, and I'm WELL aware of my limits...
This thread has shown me that a lot of "I, for one, welcome this long overdue enforcement of karmic justice" people know players that somehow no skill slopped their way through EOP, Gauntlet, Abyss, etc. by drowning the content in infinite revives that they got for nothing even though you would still need to use a ton of energy items to farm any significant amount of revives in a short time, but those lames also basically cheated by abusing the Humanoid Hack Hercules, again with no skill.
I wonder if they all know the same no skill dudes?

23 Revives needed

You get 28 for sure in 2 weeks, its that not enough? It is, If you need more then you have Daily Crystals and you can farm units on arenas to buy them, if you dont wanna farm then spend money.
This is a gaming company, not a gaming charity.
1. Revive/health pot inventory cap to a 100 of each consumable
2. Increase drop rate of revives in 4hr crystals massively (above 70% for a revive either level 1 or level 2)
3. Lower cost of revives and health pots. Using 30 units for an energy refill as a solution to not using 40 units for a revive is insanity consider how much time we have to spend in game already. In fact kabam doesn’t even have to lower the level 2 revive, allow us to buy level 1 revives for 10-15 units.
4. Put questing revives and health pots in the glory, incursions, battlegrounds and loyalty store for those specific currencies.
5. Add level 2 revives in the 24hr solo goals final milestone
Think of anything else add it to the list!!!
Kabam has been anti-player for years now and this is just one of the examples. Instead of fixing a broken game, they remove ways we can save money on items. Not a pro-player move whatsoever. Battlegrounds is still broken, cheaters are alive and well in the arenas, parries & dexes work when they want to, A.I. is progressive (but “never changed”), game lags 1-3 times per fight, and so on and so forth. Just watch as champs like Hercules or Kitty don’t ever become available as 7-stars. They’ve held off on Quake as a 6-star… she’s too pro-player. Every time Kabam moves one step in the right direction they take a giant leap backwards. I don’t understand the sabotage here. This update is completely unnecessary.
Part of me feels like I’ve been playing for 8 years so just keep going.
Other part of me is tired. As a number of folks have mentioned, this isn’t a new order of events for Kabam. They do this a lot. Not sure it’s worth feeling like a toy thing or a Guinea pig anymore.

Just make your peace with the game... Ride it out and when it stops being fun or feels like U can't keep up.. just quit it .. .at least that's what I'm gonna do.. no point on argueing or giving feedback on a decision that was taken without feedback.. this is a complete flashback from 12.0...
I mean.. all this complaints and the increase on stash cap was a "scapegoat" for compromise...
- God like AI doing things that we can’t do like punch us mid combo, launch a SP without the correct amount of power.
- Input controls galore
- EQ difficulty increase that no one asked for in uncollected and below.
- New champs that punish you in every way possible unless you have the exact counter in the game. Oh and that counter will only be available in to BUY with a chance of getting it for months.
- Take away all the best places to farm resources so when we don’t have the exact counter, or the AI messes us up, or the Input controls don’t respond we can at least clear the content.
In summary. Pay to play. Not sure how an 8 year old game has failed to make enough money at this point.
To each their own, I guess...
