He used to get weaker for every fight you did over taking the chest, though apparently they did away with that and just made him always absurdly overtuned.

Just don’t take all the chests in one run if you’re planning on exploration (which you should be planning on). Each chest you take weakens him, but if you take them all on one go then you have to face him at full strength in the next one. If you had grabbed half the chests he’d be down to around a 12k-15k PI and much quicker to beat.

Thanks for the tip. He actual gained 3k health and was 28k-29k. I used about 4 champs until Cap Marvel got him down. I might explore act 4, it depends.

Nope, those “-“ (MINUS) Attack or Health boosts links (so lowers his strength), are still there.
As just mentioned, depending which split sections you take to get to him.

And if you want to do full 100%, you can split those nodes up (half one time thru, then other half the next time thru).

Also, as noted, this node used to be **WAY MORE DIFFICULT in years past, and with FAR LESS capable/strong champs (as both champs, and how high up and Star versions) are now available to use against him.
