Hello guys. As you see my profile, over 350+ disagrees I currently have. Most people are just giving hate for absolutely no reason. I’m not saying I want attention by the way. I just post stuff based on MY opinion, like I think Hercules is boring. I’m just getting hate for this. And on my first 5* post, I got over 30 disagrees in 2 whole nights. Again, I’m just saying my opinion. Some people are actually supporting me like on my completing act 4 post. I’m just saying, everyone is disagreeing my posts even though it is not a fact or something. Including I’m getting A LOT of hate comments… Im not trying to be annoying by this post. I’ll problem get over 100+ disagrees… But, I thank everyone for the support.

this is generally how the forums go- you can’t let the disagrees effect you too much (unless it’s because you’re being needlessly rude or people are just tired of your endless spam)
They are disagreeing to random stuff like my act 5 progress post. Which completely doesn’t make any sense-
Look, I get it. Nobody likes to think they are completely ignorant. So when they think they have something over someone, they can sometimes be tempted to play that card. This doesn't generally go well.
@Gentry2099, the fact that you actually care about the dislikes on the forum and think they are mean, and the fact that you clearly aren't very knowledgeable about the game or its player community but feel compelled to jump in blind makes me think these are youthful inadequacies. Knowledge is learned and respect is earned, and neither come quickly. Relax.
I'm considered one of the more prolific forum posters around here. In six years I've started 140 threads and posted 15980 comments on (mostly) other people's threads. Every month I'm posting about 220 comments on other people's threads (about seven a day on average). And on average, I'm starting just two threads a month myself. You have 17 discussion threads and 107 posts in about a month. This means while I'm commenting on other people's threads twice as often as you are, you're starting over eight times more threads than I am.
You are of course free to start any threads you want and comment as often or as little as you want. But the forums are a community, not a support group. You want people to read your posts. You want people to respect your opinion. Are you reading other people's post? Are you giving their posts the same respect you want for your own?
There's no stat that says how many posts someone has read. But I can tell you I've read a lot more than 15980 posts. I probably comment on one post for every hundred I read. My standing in this community is as much about the million plus posts I've read as it is about the thousands of posts I've made or the dozens of discussions I've started. Those million plus posts read are why I'm careful to try to be worth reading every time I start a thread, disagrees don't bother me, and I would fear for my life if I called Cat Murdock "girly."
It isn't the right thing to do but it happens.
The most disagreed forum account confirms that.
Even when he posts something that makes zero sense to disagree with, there are still people that press disagree.
I want to believe this happens mostly out of habit and not out of hate reasons.
Stop spamming posts and when you post read what you are going to post, to avoid troll posts, and it's sure the disagree spam will stop 🙂
1. Don’t worry about the disagrees. Can they tell you something about how and what you post? Sure, and it is something that you should consider. You admitted earlier in this thread that you “spam” and I won’t disagree with you. I often see that your posts are resurfacing on the front page because you came back 3-4 days later to continue the conversation. I’m not saying you can’t come back and comment on your own stuff, but you’re often reviving posts where the conversation has died, often reviving them for no reason. So yes, it is possible that you need to adjust some of your posting habits. But again, don’t worry about the disagrees and don’t let the disagrees stop you from your desire to be a part of the forums community.
2. Recognize you have a lot to learn. You have 2 accounts, neither of which are uncollected. The majority of players that you’re going to interact with here on the forums have progressed further in the game. Does this mean they’re all experts? Absolutely not. Some paragon players make me shake my head sometimes. But you’ve made very little progress in the game at this point (though it is okay and good to desire to celebrate it) and often post things you don’t yet understand as facts. Learning is good, asking questions is great. Absorb the knowledge that this community has to offer, we are here to help.
3. Hit pause on giving advice. This ties in a bit to the last one. You’re not as seasoned on this game as the majority of players here on the forums. You have shown that you are unaware about the quality of many champs outside of a few of the significantly obvious ones. It’s okay to be learning, but don’t try to educate players on things you don’t understand. A few days ago you posted on a thread where someone was looking for help in clearing a path in act 5 and after giving a list of champs you literally said something to the affect of “I’m not really sure, I haven’t gotten this far” (paraphrased). Build up your knowledge, feed off what the community can teach, make progress in the game and get yourself to a place where you can help people to make it through what you’ve accomplished and not what you’re assuming is a good idea.
Everyone is welcome in this community, but there is a degree to which we need to know our place. I don’t mean that to be as negative as it might sound, but there’s truth to it. No one can post on everything because none of us are experts on everything. I’m not out here commenting on posts about top tier alliance wars because I’ve never participated in them. The community likes to celebrate the success of others, but when your “first 5*” post is of your second 5* on your second account you’re gonna be off to a bad start. Keep progressing, keep pushing, and yes, keep posting, just look before you leap.
But seriously, you shouldn't matter much about disagrees, but I couldn't help but notice your 456 disagrees to 34 agrees ratio. Which means people are disagreeing with you about 15 times more often they agree with you.
To me that could meet lack of actual knowledge on posts or overly aggressive responses to people who disagree with you. Those are quick ways to get your disagree to agree ratio way out of whack.
Regardless, I don't hit disagree in those instances because I'm not disagreeing with what's being said, just the why it's being said.
You could even reply agreeing with someone, and if the person you agreed with doesn’t like you for whatever reason they will click disagree.
