NERF GRANDMASTER!!!!!

Please nerf grandmaster he’s way too hard plus way too unit and time consuming. Please nerf his health and give less time between each challenge and give us more time to complete each challenge please, this is too hard.

GM is a perfectly fair fight, 99% reliant on player skill. No need to nerf him, although I wouldn't mind if he wasn't at the end of an already-difficult path.

No nerf necessary. I am average at best. But I got it done. You have to prep by saving revives and grinding units. Then pick your path. If your run is not going well, quit and restart. First time I tried him I was like WTF is this ****? I knew what to expect too. But, I kept practicing and practice involved not spending an ounce of any of my hard earned resources. Once I was able to get him wounded a the first time, I knew I could do it. Was it clean? Nope. I did not even bother swapping out Herc. I just dealt with the reverse controls as it’s not for long. I actually got the GM wounded in that phase more than any other.

All that being said, compared to videos that are out there from 2 years ago, the GM felt more aggressive than any of the videos I watched. Which made it tough to dex his SP1 as I was constantly trying to get space that he refused to give me. This and just getting to him to practice the fight is a chore in itself. I was told to find and OG Iron Man to practice dexing his SP1. That helped.

Grandmaster is the climax of the game, the final boss of the Contest. He is arguably the hardest fight to ever be in the Contest, and frankly, he doesn't need a nerf.

Up to that point, all the enemies you faced were all pretty similar. They had different, sometimes annoying node combinations, a few special bosses like Maestro and The Collector, but these were pretty close to your skill level. However, the Grandmaster fight puts all your skills to the test. His different phases test your abilities and your ability to adapt quickly, and his immense amount of health and damage meant even a small misstep could cost you greatly.

Even as you progress towards act 7 and 8, the Grandmaster fight will still stick with you, and lessons learned during said fight will help greatly in future boss fights. Grandmaster doesn't need a nerf, players just need to get better.
