Characters using specials in the middle of combos

Time and time again I am doing basic 5 hit combos in BGs and the opposite defender seems to magically use their special 1-3 in the midst of my attack, no delay or slow hits on my combo and yet the ai magically manages to sp3 or 2-1 me into oblivion, makes no sense and needs addressing asap.

I agree this is the most effective way to show it’s happening and to get Kabam’s attention. But when there are repeated complaints about the same issue, from multiple sources being posted to the forums, that should be more than enough to have Kabam look into the issue.

Companies need to understand (and the good ones do) that receiving consistent negative feedback is often a good indicator of a wide spread issue, since most people won’t bother going out of their way to complain.

As much as Kabam seems to outsource quality control and testing to the player base, it’s important to keep the perspective that we shouldn’t have to prove to them that their game isn’t functioning properly. Ignoring feedback from your customer base , unless they can prove it, is only going to result in people walking away from the game. Most of them won’t bother saying anything at all.

It's not for proving it. It's to make it a lot easier and faster for the game team to try and replicate it or find the issue. That's why also include what phone you are using, wifi or cellular which area of the game, the champions, nodes etc all help and can make it a lot easier for the game team.

I get the reasoning, and completely agree it’s the most effective way to have it addressed and to help Kabam identify the specific issue.

The issue is that most people never bother complaining about bugs, nevermind going through the process to gather and provide the info Kabam wants for reporting bugs. It’s kind of like the Captain of the Titanic ignoring passengers screaming about the boat sinking, but ignoring them because they didn’t fill out a T3 form with supporting evidence about a maintenance issue.

The point is that the complaints themselves ought to be enough to trigger Kabam’s attention. Acknowledging persistent reports of game issues, while also giving some info confirming they’re being investigated or that solutions are being looked into, goes a long way to building credibility with the player base. The go to response, which seems to be to say nothing until overwhelming proof is put under their noses, just doesn’t come close IMO.
