Og Hulk can't crit against Red Skull

I was playing the monthly event quest, thronebreaker difficulty, map 2.2. The quest gives tactical edge to #avengers so I brought my og hulk. I went to use him against Red Skull, but I never crit so I couldn't get the power drain charges from the node to get me more furies. I then tried a few practice fights and hulk could crit on other matchups and other champs could crit on red skull. I read both of their descriptions and found nothing that would give me no chance at landing crits
Is this a bug or am I missing something

    I did. I know that his armor ups give crit resistance, but that shouldn't keep me from NEVER landing a crit, especially when I can crit just fine with any other champs

    Hulks crit rate is 387 or soemthing. Add precision and that becomes maybe around 700? If Skull has more crit resistance than that hulk can't crit. Also the star difference also affects this

    Your crit rate has to be higher then his crit resistance to be able to crit. That's why you don't see many champs crit against Doom

    Ok. Makes sense. I guess the ones i tried had higher crit rating than hulk. Thanks guys
