Awakening gems surplus

Now that awakening gems are easier to get, what do you think would be the best way to make use of all these that are now just stacking up for summoners at Paragon level (even Thronebreaker level).

Use them when you get a champ for the first time at lower star levels? If from arena then use them after the first round and get 20 sigs the second round.

At my level all my 2,3,4, and almost all 5*s are awakened

At this point, I just sell all the AGs up to 4* for gold. The 5* ones, I just mostly use them on whoever, but I'm saving a Mutant one (no idea why).

I donate, wait no, sacrifice my surplus in the temple of kabam for, gold and better rng 😉

I’m holding mine till there’s hopefully another event where we can trade upward. Who knows if it’ll actually happen, but it won’t stop me from saving them.
