Honestly for me, it doesn't matter what orientation the character align themselves as.. it should not matter.. what is important is -> are they awesome attacker, have utility, are tanky, have some immunity, have survivability and can handle short/ medium and long fights.

I would like to pull Hulkling but as of now have 3* and 4* only.. Wiccan is good but seems to be a glass cannon character, damage is good but not op compared to other..

Why are we discussing about homosexuality in a game and a forum where children's play too?I wish we could keep politically sensitive content out of the game. And everyone knows no MNC care about pride month,They just use it to grind money. Mcoc is a game where underage kids play too!We should refrain from taking sexual content here

I mean I think it's fine compared to other contents kids consume about their sexuality and stuff in other places... in my country I think ppl want to teach kids in KINDERGARTEN about these things, which is way to soon and there are already cases of super young kids declare themselves associated with another gender than what they are. or whatever. Compared to all that, I think having for 1 month 2 champs enter the contest with the worst they r doing is holding hands (or kissing, as Hulkling and Wiccan did in the last node of their event quest, but not only it was just a dialogue, who reads these? I mean I do but I guess almost everyone dont) so yeah. Also there it's all about representation, that's all. Nothing too pushing on the kids, I think.

We haven't had two champs released at the same time as a couple before Hulking and Wiccan.

Namor and Sue Storm were on a loading screen together and they've had a romantic history but they aren't holding hands.

We've had romance events for Valentine's day that before Hulking and Wiccan were pretty much heterosexual.

There have been quite a few examples of straight couples in the game.

Most notably is Sersi and Ikaris, who were added the same month. They kicked things off with this motion comic

We’ve also had other examples, and bear in mind I’m picking a few here, this is not the entire list

The Thanos and Hela one is probably the most interesting, because that’s not just holding hands - people who specifically say that these images of same sex couples “sexualise” children because of showing couples holding hands, I hope you’d show the same stance on this.

It would be a good idea to read my responses to see if I actually hated the Wiccan and Hulking one when I stated otherwise, but have at it.

Actually my reaction to all of the examples is the same (especially the Thanos one). Mild cringe. But don't care enough about romance in my fighting games.

The bottom line is years of subversive rejection is hard to shake. It's ingrained in some people that anything related to my community is perverse and unnatural. That's been built over time. I don't expect anyone to have a sudden change of heart from a conversation on here.
I will however, whenever staying within the rules of the Forum allows me to, speak the truth and point out the lack of fairness.
