There should be a “tie” outcome in Battlegrounds when disconnected in round 3

Clearly something fishy was going on here. I won round two then suddenly I got disconnected right before round 3 started.

When I came back in I lost the circuit. Perhaps the system thought I forfeit the match or I had a network problem, which are both untrue. In the past I’ve had network problems but I was still able to continue the fight when I got back into the game albeit having only a few seconds left. So clearly system knows when someone actually forfeits a match.

The most reasonable outcome when disconnection happens for either player on the third round should be a tie. Neither one gains nor loses any victory medal.

Possible it could also be a mod that auto kicks the opponent so the modder can also auto win.

Why should I be punished with a tie when I can win the third round, have a favorable matchup, etc., just because my opponent got disconnected?

(reply..) But there is probably some way for game to be notified by device that device had done a “Task Switch” (which would then do a force close), so should be able to tell a real disconnect from a fake one.

So then people would just have the power switch to their Wi-Fi Router within arms reach, at the ready to just shut down their internet without any intervention at the device or game level itself at all 😀
