Visual’s are partially gone after update

Hi,

Just noticed that some “beams” are simply not there anymore, eg Aegons sp1 beam or Odins sp1 beam. Anyone else?

Samsung Ultra 22+, I've seen the issue if projectiles / beams going all over. Examples include Domino's SP2 shooting upward and Super Skrull's flame beam also shooting upward.

If they know the update is this bad. Don’t force us to update almost a full day before it’s needed. I just had to update to get into the game. Should st least have been able to wait til tomorrow.

What are the odds some of these impacted champs are defenders in the new event and/or side quests launching tomorrow and there are some unblockable nodes involved so just holding block to deal with the VFX issue isn’t an option? Seems like the way these kind of things go.

This seems like an emergency maintenance situation, not a “push a fix next week” situation unless they really can’t have a fix ready before next week.

Was thinking the same thing, guess we will find out how bad it will be lol.

I thought it was a one-off, but since others are reporting:
Iphone XR - After updating, when facing against Domino and she launches her SP2, she jumps and rotates through the air as normal. However, instead of the bullets firing in a 45 degree arc towards the ground, it seems to fire at a 45 degree arc towards the sky.

The team has seemingly found the source of the VFX (visual effects) issues. They are looping a fix into the hotfix that should be coming soon. As far as I know, the timeline is early-mid next week.

Thank you for your reports, they were integral to the resolution of this issue.

And.. what's being done on items spend, wars lost, energy lost, Elders mark spends and loss in BG..

This seems a lot more pressing than “uh, yeah, oops… we know the fix, will roll it out next week I guess.” Already got clipped by Odin’s SP1 the first time trying to dex the invisible arc. The game at best looks like trash right now and it affects game play

Kabam Jax I Tried To Update The Game To The Latest Version, It Installed The Update But Then It Said Couldn't Install On The Google Play Store, So I Don't Know If That Was A Glitch Or A Bug, Oh And Will The Hotfix Be Available On The Google Play Store By Next Week?

iPhone 14 pro…. Odins energy wave from s1 is gone, skrull/cgr/king groot all bugged visual effects in their sp attacks.
Side note: Cassie is still whiffing heavy and sp1 attacks.

How are we supposed to play aw season when so many defenders have bugged specials? I don't understand.. early next week basically after the next 3 wars...

Are you expecting to have a fix for it before the next war?
Some specials are a bit harder to dex and counter without the proper animation, like wilcan’s sp1 that shoot to the sky instead to the bottom corner, and domino sp2.
It caught me by surprise in BG, but in war it’s much more important.
