I am Cavalier and really need gold. I have a bunch of everything else, but I can't rank up my guys without it (obviously). I am really disappointed in how the Spider-Exchange store treats Cavalier (and probably Uncollected) with regard to rewards access.
We are locked out of the first 2 top rows of rewards (which is where all the meat is) and the first 2 options for gold (and iso).
As such, the max gold you can get in the Spider-Exchange store if that is where you spend your resources is 1 million. That is just enough to rank 3 a single 5*. Come on now...
If you have to lock out the upper tier from us middle players, so be it, but for basic resources that are hard to get under regular circumstances is kinda mean, really...

Totally agree. The rank up rewards from the side quest are for the most part easily available for glory or bg points. And 1% t5cc crystals? Really? For cav?
Very underwhelming event. Very little gold, ISO, and rank up materials for the effort. Surely Kabam can see that the event model of consumable tokens per try reduces participation. Since they were introduced I always end up not using all tries because everytime I do I know it's going to be a potion dump! Clearly designed to make you invest units to complete, and then you are rewarded with shop items like 1/15 of a T3a and 1/30 of a T6b. Wow... Such generosity... I already have no gold or ISO, whereas on the last event here was plenty of either!
This has to be one of the WORST side quests I’ve seen in my years playing. Rewards are subpar at best the fights arent fun and the quest is buggy. I’m literally enjoying the game less and less every day playing this month
It was from the in-game “Spider-Bots” update information. If you head to the bottom, it clearly says there will be a free Lady D to celebrate her joining the contest with a side quest to level her up.
Honestly I feel Kabam got it wrong on the difficulty spread. Thronebreaker now feels like a slog with no end in sight, whilst Paragorn gets all the useful rewards. To top it all off, there is very little difference in difficulty between the last two difficulties, so Thronebreakers have no option but to take the highest difficulty despite having worse rewards than Paragons. Case in point, Threat 4 is almost the same as Threat 5 but gets significantly worse reward options for Thronebreakers. Meanwhile Paragons get 3x the resources and shards for the same effort. In general, the Thronebreaker store items for this event are a joke, with too little of the resources they need to progress, and forcing us to take resources that we already have in overflow or can't sell because somehow Kabamstill hasn't given a value to T4CC despite having T5CC in the game...
I have read through this event so many times, watched YouTube videos of people explaining it, looked at google doc breakdowns, and I STILL don't understand a single thing. I truly have no freaking idea how this side quest works and I don't want to use any of my whatever gun devices things since they're consumed on entry, but how the heck does everyone else understand this?
It feels like there's just a massive wall in my brain I can't break through to comprehend this.

What part are you not understanding? It’s a basic quest. 1 path, opponents will be randomized from a select group. Each opponent has different nodes. You gain currency from each fight to use in the store.
