    This team sucks tho, I am struggling to find alternatives. I can swap out VP for Torch to deal with mystics, but that means losing a Peni counter...

    You can try taking peni with herc tho. That's what I am doing. Taking her shield down, Infuriate her, then intercept and play normal for while until you need to repeat.

    Herc (cosmic miss fight, cosmic autoblock fight and cap sam)
    Abs man (mystic power drain fight, fight or flight fight and coldsnap bleed incinerate fight - except cap sam and rhino)
    Fury (spot, rhino and bleed evade fight)
    Torch (boss)
    Hulkling (backup)

    The attack values for the defenders were quite high, I was taking like 2k per parry with torch against doom. Not a fan of that tbh.

    I have taken the same team every time .

    R5 Doom
    R4 AA
    R4 Sp99 (just in case of mystic spidey boss)
    R4 Galan (wanted hulkling, but can't into specials for 2 fights)
    7 star venom... kind of the MVP of the SQ, definitely most versatile

    Kitty Pryde (for the boss and the triple threat node)
    Tigra (for the first one and I think there was another where mystic helped)
    Ghost (worked wonders for the bleed node, also viable Spidey counter)
