Is it right for people to complain about Battlegrounds's matchmaking?

This topic has risen a lot lately with at least one or more discussions seen on the first page every day so the question arises:

My answer to this is No since battleground matchmaking is working as intended with people matching up against others with the same tier as them. And doesn't give them the excuse of being an uncollected player against a paragon one is unfair. If things were more fair then it would have been too easy and more people would have risen higher to the point where everyone does their victory track

In the current format, it needs to be tier only and I still see proof of that at the lower tiers.

Everyone has the right to complain, it doesn't mean they are right. With how BG's works right now, people need to understand they are in competition with everyone within the tier they're in. They shouldn't complain when facing harder competition when moving up the ranks.

I think Battlegrounds matchmaking is a lot better now. Last few seasons I was stuck in Silver & Gold as a 2.5 mil Paragon and complaining how not fun it was and seeing low level accounts getting better rewards not having to face any real challenge. This season I made it into Gladiator circuit fair and square in 2 weeks and actually felt the playing field has been leveled. I play casually after work in the evenings and was still able to get into GC through playing my best and not giving up and using a victory shield here and there. I have faced all different level accounts from 1.2 mil to over 4mil and have won and lost matches against all levels. Everyone is swimming in the same pool now and that feels more fair and balanced for the same rewards. The only other option would be for Kabam to make a separate BGs for lower level accounts with worse rewards where progression is easier. If you want the big boy rewards though you gotta play against everyone competing.

People have already said so many points that I'll try not to repeat.

1. People complain mostly because they're unable to deal with RNG for this mode. If the look closely 90% of their matches are against +-20% of their own deck strength.

2. Most people have not figured out the mode and when they play it, they do so casually. I can guarantee you won't make progress if you don't take the time to analyze nodes, champs and deck selection. You have to learn most champs especially if you want to fight against them.
The knowledge has to be much deeper than just saying "I know torch works against mystics" or "Nimrod destroys all mutants".

3. Complaining will get people nowhere just like in real life. If you want to win, understand what you're up against, plan, have a strategy and play smart. This is a mode with some of the best rewards and they don't come easy.

4. Take losses with a smile, the more you get frustrated the more you'll lose, the more you'll get angry, the more you're going to hate it. And once you hate something, it's better to take a break.

In general, everyone has the right to complain, provided it's within the rules of the Forum. It's a slippery slope when we start determining who should speak and who should not.

Mostly this. I don't really fault players for complaining about something they don't like, in and of itself. However, posters need to understand that everyone else has the right to comment on their complaints, because that's what the forums are for. You make a post, someone else comments on your post, that's why the forums allow threads.

If people complain about something, we can understand/learn a thing or two about a player or the game.
Its not even like complains are killing the game, it only shows more room for improvement in experience.

I wish more people were open to listening to someone's experience rather than saying "It works for me, so there is no issue"
