This game is about level progression and fighting skill ability more than anything else.
If you have been playing this game 6 months and less it is imperative that you realize these following things so that you will be able to cope with this game better in the long run:
1. This game is not meant to be finished in a few months, even a year, or even two years. This is a game that is meant to be played for the "long haul." You will be very disappointed if you think you can finish Act 4 in less than 6 months unless you spend tens and thousands of dollars on revives and heals.
2. This game is about building and developing a strong roster of characters in order to deal with game content progressively. The most ironic part of what you will eventually discover is that you really only need 16 really powerful champs to reach end game content, and this takes time. You will have to build on the plethora of characters from 1-2-3-4*s, eventually to 5*s and soon, 6*s. You must focus on developing your first 3 strongest attackers that can help in AQ and AW, then champs for questing them champs for AW defense (depending on your alliance's priorities).
3. This game is about developing and building strong fighting skills. You can have the best champs in the game but if you don't fight well you will still end up spending unnecessarily for revives and heals. You need to understand fighting dynamics of light vs medium vs heavy attack, vs evading, blocking, parrying, intercepting and launching the specials in timely fashion.
4. If a certain content, particularly champ, seems unbeatable then it means you're not yet meant to be at that level of content. It literally took me one year before I completed my first master event even though I had a pretty solid roster. You cannot expect to beat Uncollected Level if you haven't 100% Act 4. There is a certain progression that must be followed or you will be very disappointed and frustrated.
5. If you will complain then complain about the content specific to where you're at. It is pointless to demand 5* awakening gems when you only have 2 5*s. Make sense right?
