Mantis stat focus

Because she has guaranteed cries on sp2, which stat focus is better for mantis? Critical damage rating or special damage? I still don’t understand how these percentages translate to the game

It's a lot of math to figure out what would be more effective. You'd have to know base attack, crit multiplier, and also how to do math. I'd recommend just hopping in RoL and seeing what happens.
