What was the thinking behind voting Knull?

I voted for Sersi even though I knew Knull would win by a mile. It’s about long term use. Right now, IMO, a 7* Sersi is like a 7* gamora. She would be insane right now, but will she stand the test of time when 7* are more common and health pools in quests are updated to match that? Knull even has a carina challenge dedicated to him. It’s about resource management. Knull usually needs specific counters in AW based on his regular placement. Sersi has a lot of mystics that can shred her even if she can punish you greatly if you mess up. For longevity purposes, I feel like Knull is better looking at the current state of the game. Who knows what happens in the next few months that would shift the dynamic to Sersi more. I also think this is a similar reason to why warlock beat OS. OS has a higher damage ceiling, but she’s AI dependent. How many times do you see people post complains about AI being passive? So many purify nodes in quests. Warlock has a slightly above average damage and lots of important utilities. He’s less stressful to play. On paper, he sounds like the more safe bet to pull when you know it will be a very long time before you can get another titan crystal. Doesn’t need awakening either, maybe for defense to be annoying.

Never got knull as a 6* and he looks cool. Plus, you can't get dupe or sigs on him if he's not even available

Knull's sig gives you some cool utility in certain matchups but mostly just saves you time. To get to 15 living abyss with an unduped knull takes 15-20 seconds. And like someone above said, to dupe and sig him up, first he must be available. The sooner the better. Same reason people should've voted for Omega Red.

You’re completely wrong about Sersi. She’s a great attacker who can do massive damage quickly and consistently. If you doubt me, watch some of bittersteel’s videos.

THIS. i recently discovered her offensive prowess after using her primarily on defense. she's quite good.

While I voted Sersi for this reason, I also play the long game with this stuff and know that at some point we will be adding sigs to 7s champs.

It's honestly not my problem if you think knull needs dupe or the sigs. I have done abyss runs with an unduped knull. Maybe next time actually use the champ before you make a post?

You could make an argument for any one of these champions. But no, Knull doesn’t need the dupe or max sig.

You can't really make an argument for an unduped KG or Medusa compared to an unduped Knull. Maybe sersi but most would still go with Knull considering where the game is headed towards rn. King groot's USP is his regen which comes from his sig ability and an unduped medusa really has some god awful damage

Everyone is thinking about right now but they said in the initial stream that not ever champ is guaranteed to become a 7* so even if it take a while just having the option to obtain him is better overall.

You make it sound like he's bad unawakened, he's not, I had mine unawakened for a very long time and still used him a lot. Sure the sigs make the ramp up faster which is definitely nice to have but he's perfectly capable unawakened, same damage same utility it just takes 15-20 seconds longer which is no big deal, at least not for most content

At max sig he’s the best in the poll. Sersi is a better defender only if the opponent doesn’t have a good mystic. I think Knull can trip you up more if he throws an sp1. I think all the options are great though

Knull doesn’t need sigs it just makes him a bit faste. It’s not like he’s great in bgs anyways even at sig 200. The unblockable and unstoppable is a nice bonus too. Let’s you be more aggressive if the ai is passive

A defender and nothing more????? I hope your joking. Sersi is not only a great defender but also a great attacker. With the Ms. Marvel relic on she is OP. She folds Peni like a omelet. And there are nodes where she shines in. People voting knull is so freaking stupid. Sersi does not need to be awakened unless you want her to regen during glancing on defense and attack. And that guy who said "KnUlL LoOkS CoOL" Is just dumb and not a good reason why you would want him as a 7*
