Progression and problems

So I've just hit level 20 and I'm starting to get into a phase where I can't progress at all. I have a rank 4, 3 star Claire Voyant, a rank (1) 4 star Magik and Vulture as my best champions. I'm really struggling to pull good characters, even when I grind to save up to do a 3-5 star crystal I still only get 3 stars. I don't get anything good from completing the story either. idk what to do and I'm getting pissed. my bro who plays is level 7, he just logged in and was given 5 ridiculous crystals which gained him 3 five star champions. I feel like all my grinding was for nothing, he hardly even plays the game and he just gets given better champions than me. It's so painful, I can't progress, my champions are average at best. Idk what to do, and even thought of uninstalling after he opened those crystals

Welcome to mcoc. I was playing for 3 years before my brother started playing and I had to get about 20 5 stars before I had one good one. My brother needed 2. It happens, just patiently play the game and stop buying the grandmaster crystals, they're not worth it. Also join a somewhat active alliance and do some alliance quest for really easy rank up materials.

Should also note the game does become pretty skill intensive by the time you hit act 5, so expect a lot of opposition to growth there.

Are you in an alliance? Even a simple bronze 2 or 3 alliance will supercharge your progression. One AW season at that level will pick you up at least one 5*.

Well, first of all. Stop wasting your units on grandmaster crystals right now, put them towards masteries, and as much as I hate to say it, revives and health pots if need be if you're really struggling with something since kabam took away farming

Learn to use your champs properly. It will help you greatly on taking on latter contents that is flooring many new players even with 6-Stars.
