Ant-Man Future Stats Staying Same Upon Rank / Level Up

I’m hoping this is the right spot.
I have a 6-star Ant-Man future and have been leveling / ranking him. I take screenshots before / after each rank up just to compare stats. When I took him from Rank 3 and put 10 levels in him I noticed his health and attack actually went DOWN some instead of up. I had no active boosts before or after. I put some more levels in him and it got to the same level it was at R2 L35.
I’m confused at what is going on, I’ve tried closing and reopening the game but it does not solve issue.
My bad if this is a known bug - I did a quick search but did not find anything.

Might be a rare case that leveling up 10 levels still hadn’t fully recovered from the initial drop.
But there are other Rank Dependent stats (may not be apparent in profile stats section) that have indeed increased upon just the Rankup (Power Gain Rate, etc)
Thanks for the reply though. Interesting. Seemed like a bug to me, 🤷♂️
As stated, Power Rate, if you can build and use your SP attacks faster, that will result in more and faster damage, despite potentially a little lower Attack Stat number.
Also “Challenger Rating”, you can see the number in their profile (something between like 80 and 130, etc), increases by 10 each higher Rank. You'd have to delve into DNA3000's insightful math calculation threads regarding all this stuff, but basically this number (even though not apparent just looking at Stat Profile) gets used in various calculations, like I believe CRIT HIT RATE and CRIT DAMAGE calculations.
