any update for actions being taken against players who opened the crystals?

just hoping to get a definitive answer on what action is going to be taken against players who took advantage of the crystal mishap.
primarily wondering; will bans of any sort be issued? just hoping to know so that alliances can better prepare for the upcoming war season and AQ before it’s too late to find replacements

This info is already all over the forums. Bans issued, crystals being removed. Miike put out that information shortly after the bug was discovered.

obviously the crystals were removed but all i’ve seen is a single post of someone saying they were banned. to my knowledge kabam miike has not definitively stated that bans are going to be issued. just want to make sure that one ban was in relation to the mythic crystals

All those I know who have opened hundreds of the crystals have not yet been banned, nor have the crystals been removed.

Only Kabam knows if there's anything else to come.

They can't do anything and they try to silence it. I personally sent a refund request for ly 4th pf July purchases. Why would I pay so much money for a good account when someone else can just abuse a bug and get it that way?

Then you shouldn't have donated any money, because there are so many arena bot users + modders who get a lot of all the rewards without much effort.

I can understand you well, but you should always take better care of yourself than others.

Just because some accs got more champs within half an hour than I did in two years doesn't detract from my gaming experience.

We're playing a skill-based game here, not a champ-based one. And we should all wait and see what happens now.

The only thing that can be blamed on Kabam at the moment is its more than poor external communication with the community. You can't sugarcoat that.

since bans come in waves based on bg season wrapping up/ending and quarterly arena sweeps, you're as set as you're going to be.

Never exploit obvious bugs and you’ll be fine. Use common sense and don’t be greedy. And if you say that you didn’t think this 1250-crystal reward was a bug, I do not believe you.

The process for clawing back those rewards ain’t easy, because knuckleheads opened so many and ranked up champs, which they knew was wrong but were hoping to get away with something. That’s why this is ban worthy.

They aren’t even giving out permanent bans, at least from what I’ve seen on forums, so this is basically just a warning for people not to do so again.

seems like it since all the guys on global who took advantage of the mythics haven't been banned so far

No one was given was a ban of any sort. Imo they should have had a temp ban to freeze their accounts, but that would restrict them from doing the SQ too so 🤷

I know an exceptionally chatty good kid from a line group, got banned for 30 days. 30 DAYS.
He opened all 1250, did rankups, sold iso etc etc.
He is not a cheater/modder/botter. But he did exploit this one. He's just a teen with teen instincts, So it's false.
