The exact same logic does apply. They put within their terms of service (which I’m certain they have read) that bugs may happen and any player that benefits from those bugs excessively (we’ll say like getting 1,250 full mythic crystals as a hypothetical example) will have those exploited rewards removed and it could include punishment up to a ban. Kabam is holding themselves accountable to their terms of service they created, why should players not be held to those same terms to which they agreed? It’s not the players fault that Kabam made a mistake, but only an idiot can blame themselves for being an idiot. This was clearly a mistake. You don’t need to be a longtime player to realize that, you just need to be able to think.

If you open 1250 crystals that will end up giving you 200+ 6*s as a cavalier when each month you don’t get even 1 6* crystal for the entire event, and you don’t think after a few pops “hmm, these are more crystals I have ever got in my history of playing MCOC” then I wouldn’t trust you with plastic scissors.
