Should I use Kate or Shang chi

I've personally been crushing Act 7, Cav and TB EQ's and Incursions with my r3 Shang Chi. He's just so easy and simple, he gets even more use than my NF.

K thank you I think I’ll use Kate for the time since I’ve used Shang chi for like a year now

I wouldn't recommend him Kate since her perfect release is not easy to master and without it , as you mentioned , she has mid damage .

Shang is easier to use with more damage and utility so my pick defo would be Shang .

I wouldn't recommend him Kate since her perfect release is not easy to master and without it , as you mentioned , she has mid damage .

I’ve got the perfect release on lock but if you think I should use Shang chi I’ll still use him for most cases unless Kate will be good for my fight but I’ve also used Shang chi for a whole year and I am looking for someone knew he’s not boring but I’ve just used him loads

A champ will defo get boring if you use him a lot . For example OG Doom in my case . But that doesn't take away the fact that both Doom and Shang dominate any meta .

I know Kate is great but I consider ShangChi to be the better champion
However if u care about BGs then u should give preference to Kate as she also has some defensive use

Use them both, they are both great champs with different utility and play styles. There’s no reason you can’t use both. Some nodes or match ups will benefit one more than the other. Just look at the nodes and champions on the path you plan on taking and plan your roster accordingly.

I honestly don’t think that perfect release is as hard as people are making it out to be. There’s a bunch of good videos that show what cue to do it on and you can nail it pretty consistently.

I have Kate at r4 and Shang at r3 and I prefer Kate by a lot, especially for battlegrounds. Both are excellent champs though. If you checked the new battlegrounds meta, Kate will kill it there

Yeah that’s what I was thinking unless it’s like side quest which the team doesn’t matter to much I’ll use both
