FAM vs Nimrod !! Who to r5 ? 1st Tech r5 dilemma

I am absolutely in love with these 2 . Nimrod does really good in non mutant matches too and FAM is a banger of a champion as well . Who do you all think deserves the rank 5 first ?

FAM is better than Nimrod on defense (especially after he gets fixed)

Nimrod is better than Fantman in general mutant matchups especially domino and other annoying fights (excluding bishop and havok).

Fantman has been much better for me in other matchups (and he’s great for the mutants nimrod can’t do) but Nimrod does those general matchups well too

I prefer Fantman but you can’t go wrong either way

Havok’s energy resistance is off the charts. Nimrod is way slower against him and it’s not that effective. Antman is better for him

How is it that Nimrod can’t do well against Bishop if Bishop is on defense, but the reverse isn’t true?

I tried to fight a Nimrod as a Bishop and got absolutely obliterated.

It’s all about the health pools. Short fights and Nimrod can roast Bishop, but in longer fights you will eventually take too much feedback damage and get cooked. Given that as an attacker you don’t get any health boosts, that’s the main reason why you will always get destroyed against him. Nimrod is good for Bishop if the health pool is under 100k, but you get into some shaky territory above that.

Nimrod for Mutants, antman for basically anything else.

For the reasons mentioned above, Future Antman is the better defender (Galan just blitzes Nimrod but Fant is galan proof).

How is fantman galan proof? Would like to know. Recently ranked fantman to R2, my nimrod is already R4. Both are amazing champs but I believe nimrod to be more of an headache on defense mostly bcoz he is a robot and unstoppable etc...

When awakened FAM has a damage cap. Not quite Galan proof, but Galan would not be himself against him.
