As long as people keep playing mcoc and Kabam keep letting exploits into this game, there will always be players who are going to take advantage of it. For that reason, this is clearly a situation that could've and should've been avoided by Kabam. The company responsible for building reward systems and managing the in game economy will always be the main people responsible for screwing up their own damn economy.
With that being said, you didn't have to exploit this. But you did. Perma banning you would've been well within the terms of service. Kabam knows it's their fault and they can't keep banning players over their mistakes, so they're clearly cutting back on that, but you knew there would be consequences. Whether they decide to help you or not, you can't be surprised that you lost something here. They put in so much work to fix this issue, fairness obviously can't be a priority. Kabam is clearly responsible for making such a massive mistake, but your account was only affected because of the decision you made.

If kabam really stripped extra rewards from you then that sucks, but you're also the person who tried to get over 1,000 5 and 6* champs from a clearly bugged cavalier reward and then competed in the BG season with those champs. Seems pretty tit for tat tbh.

If you gain any rewards by using the champions gotten from mythic crystal exploit.. that is taking advantage of the said exploit by using champions you should probably not have gotten yet.. who knows maybe in time you do pull them later on.. Note: any units, 4* shards, 5* shards and 6* shards from dupe with the 1250 mythic crystal are fraudulent and do no count as yours.. Now, if you originally had 9700shards 7*, and it was removed.. that would be mistake on kabams part, and they should return what was originally yours.. Hence reason why the account need to be frozen and account who took advantage and were able to advance in summoner progression (example: use '1250 mythic champs' to overcome challenges) because its difficult with current roster. exploited situation.. so its revert back to before it happened. do you understand the severity and cascading effects of opening any of the 1250 mythic crystal..

Exactly this. Although the OP didn't break the law, steal anything etc they did receive items by mistake. Kabam has to remove those items and any profit they have from having those items.
I would suspect that the more content attempted with a roster containing those incorrectly gained champions, the more work it is for Kabam to try and unpick. It may be that it's so complicated they can only revert accounts back to what they were before.
Or failing that, Kabam could have just deducted 5* and 6* shards for every 5* opened in error, putting accounts massively in the red, perhaps forever. It could have been worse.
If they made a mistake, submit a ticket. You won’t find much sympathy here. You exploited an obvious bug and caused Kabam a crapload of work to fix your effort to unfairly progress in the game.

Well as Kabam have confirmed that they’ve not removed the amount of champions you claimed to have lost from any account, I’d say this is just a pointless thread.

You had more resources than you should have, which would have made your account better. Meaning more wins!
Your account should have been re-set and brought back to 1 day before the crystal exploit. No BG rewards or any progress you have profited from since you exploited the game.

With that being said, you didn't have to exploit this. But you did. Perma banning you would've been well within the terms of service. Kabam knows it's their fault and they can't keep banning players over their mistakes, so they're clearly cutting back on that, but you knew there would be consequences. Whether they decide to help you or not, you can't be surprised that you lost something here. They put in so much work to fix this issue, fairness obviously can't be a priority. Kabam is clearly responsible for making such a massive mistake, but your account was only affected because of the decision you made.
If kabam really stripped extra rewards from you then that sucks, but you're also the person who tried to get over 1,000 5 and 6* champs from a clearly bugged cavalier reward and then competed in the BG season with those champs. Seems pretty tit for tat tbh.
I would suspect that the more content attempted with a roster containing those incorrectly gained champions, the more work it is for Kabam to try and unpick. It may be that it's so complicated they can only revert accounts back to what they were before.
Or failing that, Kabam could have just deducted 5* and 6* shards for every 5* opened in error, putting accounts massively in the red, perhaps forever. It could have been worse.
