With 7*r3 coming in October, can we get ascension now?

Since Battlerealm Brawl is gonna put an r3 in the game, it’s time for ascension. @kabamJaxSucks said in the livestream it wasn’t needed yet because 7*s were so much stronger than 6*s yet (even though I think R2s are).. so now with r3s coming, can we get a timeline?

took two 2 years for the first r3 6*. now it's 6 months. how is it not moving fast?

It’s definitely moving too fast… but it’s by design. Wouldn’t be so bad if there was consistent new content to use all these highly ranked champs. BGs is very cool, but not everybody wants to grind it nonstop.

No. And you shouldn't either. When cyber weekend rolls around 7* will have been out a grand total 7/8 months.

Well, we disagree 🤷🏽‍♂️…A couple months ago, most people didn’t think we’d see r5 gems in July 4th offers. We saw plenty. With many people having 5+ (and maybe 10+ by then) r2s by late November, 7* 1-2 gems are not gonna be enticing to spenders. $100 deal is very likely have 2-3 gems.

Seriously, I don’t have a lot of hope for ascension. If it does happen, I worry that it will likely require R5 6* and consequently diverting rankup resources from 7* champs.

Before BGs, you could say it didn’t really matter that much. Seems like BGs puts it into the category of “pretty important.”

Ascension would still only make her basically a 6*r3 with no adrenaline … so you’ll still have to destroy your thumb tendons/ligaments playing her lol

Exactly… we’ve got no content and just BGs. And BGs is exactly where the power level differences show. At this point, I’d be happy just to know exactly how ascension will work. Will it require an “ascension gem” to unlock the additional level? What catalysts will it take for the rank up?

It's a bit of stretch considering only one person will have one. I don't know why that's a thing so quickly but it is. And honestly who knows ... it doesn't benefit the game economy to have only one person with something so I'm sure Kabam is fast tracking some things.

What I'll say is that Kabam should really balance the focus on high end players and casual-mid players. Right now it's too far skewed.

There’s also the Abyss 2 option… assuming we ever get new content again lol. Basically a repeat of 1st abyss, where completion (or maybe exploration) gets you the resources you need

If this post is accurate, there’s gonna be a lot of r3s before cyber week even hits with people who jump straight into completion. This makes me even more sure there’ll be plenty more after cyber offers.
