Adjustment to Relics Release Cadence

Hello Summoners,
We are taking a break from the established release cadence for Relics.
After the addition of the most recent trio in July, we are taking a step back to reassess how relics affect the in-game experience and set new goals for the feature. We like the opportunity space they introduce by customizing your Champions and adding an additional layer of depth to the combat experience.
We are aware of the feelings some Summoners have toward Relics. We have been closely monitoring community conversations on the Forums, YouTube, social media, within our Content Creator Program, in-game surveys and a variety of other community spaces. We want to take this time to address the feedback we have received.
To be clear, Relics aren’t going anywhere. Your existing Relics aren’t changing today, nor is the content where Relics can be used. Simply, you won’t see any new Relics being released for a while as we’re figuring out how we want to move Relics forward.
Expect more news in the coming months.

Does this mean you will remove “daunt-less” for bgs and that god awful EQ node where we pretty much have to have specific relics to gain power?
Forced is also applying a node where you can practically no power without having one.
Don’t try to argue. Forced may not be the 100% true word, but you kind of HAVE to have them and use in certain scenarios.
Are revives forced? No, but without them your pretty much screwed in certain content.
If people don't want them on principle, that's their prerogative. You can't expect them to not use them and provide advantages for using them based on that. Other people are using them.

While I do not remember the node set, it definitely felt forced with that specific fight. If you would like for me to find what those nodes were, I would be willing to attempt to provide a video showcasing the reliance on the relics in that fight.

Relics are being forced. Anyone who disagrees with that does not understand simple truths.
I think they’re pushing them pretty hard for sure. A bit further than I would have expected with them saying consistently that they WOULDN’T be pushing them.
I understand the side of saying that they’re not being FORCED, and that they’re being pushed on player too much too soon.
For example, I’ve seen some people upset about Silk kind of needing a relic for more damage. Although this evidence is anecdotal, I’d think that it’s not being forced, as people may not like Silk because of that feature, but are not being forced to use her.
While something like the Mephisto boss fight (to me, personally) DOES feel forced, as a large amount of rewards in high tier content comes from exploration, REQUIRING that someone does that fight at least once.
While I understand the fight better now, and will likely be able to solo it when the content drops officially, I do think that it’s a bit shady to go back on what we’ve been told.
I know that this is no one in particular’s fault, and I’m sure that working on MCOC is likely stressful, and a lot of companies are suffering from understaffing at the moment. And I truly appreciate the efforts of those like Jax, and Miike, and all of the developers who design these interactions. I just think there needs to be more open communication, and a better approach to how information is delivered, rather than making players rely on Jax and Miike, and be upset with them when things go differently.
All in all, I think there are fair points on both sides, but I definitely lean on the side of enjoying relics, but preferring that they aren’t pushed onto players who don’t enjoy them.

I just prefer to lead with caution, and not get my hopes up for it changing.

What are the odds those resources will be reallocated to bringing back the champ buff program?
And before the usual crew chimes in saying it never went away, we all know it's basically on life support.
Getting back to a routine cadence would likely be a very welcome trade to vast majority of the community.
