OP, since you already got the less than clever, sarcastic response, here's the more honest one.They wanted a node that would make people use someone besides Nimrod ad the go-to mutant killer.Since the bulk of his damage comes from the passive shocks on his sp2, they threw that node on there to keep him as a viable, but far less than ideal option.
