So if it is a tiny bit shorter then now(less energy refills spent on exploration/ dragging it out by waiting for energy to refresh)

    I'd honestly like them to decrease the amount of paths, especially in the later chapters, it could still be the same amount of total energy if they want. It just gets boring in the last chapter

    I honestly wouldn't mind making it longer (maybe 3 quests per chapter) but with fewer paths per quest. Re-doing the same quest 7 times gets old.

    They should have done to MEQs what they did to 8.3. It should have been MEQs that got shortened.

    Yep I fully agree with you there.

    Wish Kabam would shorted MEQ (especially 3.1 and 3.2), and have 8.3 with 6 path instead.

    It would make more sense as well if Kabam looking to reduce the workload from the team. It is better to shorten content that come out monthly, rather content that only come up every so often.
