AI Reaction to Cassie heavy charge!

Any other Cassie players noticed the AI is no longer dashing at you while you’re charging her heavy attack???

I start noticing last week, and especially during Brutal DXL challenge.

Kabam, that’s not cool or fair. Y’all know well the AI was passive, and y’all changed it or something that’s not Cassie player friendly!

It is annoying how the enemy will seem to wait. It is probably an issue with the AI where the AI gets itself locked until something happens. Something I noticed is if I just release the heavy, the AI doesn't react at all and due to the reach of Cassies heavy, you can typically hit through their block.

This might just become some way of manipulating the AI like whiffing a light attack to force the AI to parry you while using someone like Attuma.

I've seen AI reaching to my input. When i block and AI stand still, if i dash into them then intercept with light attack. If i dash back when they are still, they would either dash towards me or something else. So basically it read my dash-in input and countered it. That's unfair advantage for a computer program

Not just Cassie, I face the same problem with Mr Negative everyday. Even when I try 3 hit combo then hold heavy they still dash back and wait. The only method that works most of the time is to timing and hold heavy while they dash at you.

Doom does that a lot when you purify his shock.

The Attuma thing is relatively new AFAIK and is remarkably consistent. But it shows just how sped up the AI is. If they are going to do that, at least buffer it with some semblance of human reaction time.

Then there’s also infuriate, taunt, and intimidate which seem to be RNG based. Even top players YouTubers yell “bro you’re intimidated!”.

This is similar to champs like Spot because dude is a nightmare to play now because you try and build portals and the AI starts heavy spamming like crazy. In Cassie’s case it knows when she’s charging heavy and stays away. They think we don’t notice these things but anyone who has been played the game long enough knows they have messed with the profiles and it started back when they added 7* champs in the game.

If you start putting the pieces together with all of the changes coming through (revives, refills, adjusting content to get summoners through content quicker, AI reactions), it all points to resource use. Content is designed for people to use up resources in hopes that the summoner has to use cash to purchase more. I don't think it's a stretch by any account to think that's what is happening.

I get it. We have to adjust with the changes being made. The game has changed from last week/month/year. Certain things that worked for us in the past don't always work now. We like to mention RNG with crystals and such, and I think the RNG also applies to in-fight percentages too. We used to joke about Magik's limbo proccing way more when it's the AI using her than when it's the summoner. It's chance, but that thought always creeps in that it' is different.

Anyways, I've noticed the Cassie thing. Also the intimidate/infuriate/taunt mechanic not working like they used to. I've tried to adjust, but haven't gotten around to adjusting my frustration when dealing with it.

In addition to Cassie, I have noticed that Hercules and Future Ant-man are less consistent in causing the AI to be aggressive/dash at you. Before, it was near 100% that I could chain dash-back intercepts. Now, I estimate that it is 50-75% of the time. Still works, but much less consistent or reliable.

Worse then that let's say i use her heavy to dodge some special attack, after that my heavy's animation starts and the AI wait for the exact time to dash and punish my heavy, basically her coolest mechanic is super risky zzz

Unless you can prove the ai doesn't behave like that now or that it is specifically a Cassie issue (which it is not. Not is it an 'issue').

Try using your domino for a fight
And then fight against a domino defender with any non aa reduction immune champion
The critical failures happen like its 50% aar instead of 15%

One strategy I’ve tried using recently is using her similar to Wasp, Chavez, or Silk. I’ll do a 4 hit combo and start charging my heavy. I find that more times than not the opponent will attack.
