Kabam? Explain the node fully?

As THE Paragon, I just came across this, Is there any reason why the description on this node doesn't say that, "Attackers special attacks will also cost 50% less?"

Like I legit died because of Hulkling throwing specials after specials in a chain, like what's happening? Is typist getting lazy or something? Or is this a try to catch players off-guard after they are balls deep into the fight?

There's literally an in game quest node called "power efficiency" with the definition "defenders special attacks cost 50% less power". I'm pretty sure anyone that is atleast above cavalier should know this so why do you, THE paragon, did not know this? Lol.

Can't believe the community will be blaming THE Paragon for not knowing every single node existing in game instead of asking Kabam what's up with half ass descriptions on war nodes.

Clearly it's players fault for not double checking if the node on wars comes with full description or there are some hidden bundled up ability as well 50% LESS POWER USED, that's not a short thing to "lol we forgot to type"

Yeah but how efficient? If it's a 10% efficiency, you can just ignore it. If it's 50%, it's harder. That should be available on the node itself

The word "efficiency" is neither an ability in the game, nor something that makes me think right away on a day to day basis that only half of power would be consumed.

The most annoying node which requires you to give them 10 debuffs in certain period of time to give them 10% degen and if you fail it it would regen them for 25% and it also makes them immune to debuffs. I know this very well as I was struggling to defeat the venompool boss in back issues. This one is an extremely rare node and cannot be found easily unlike power efficiency which is as far as I'm aware, one of the most overused nodes.

DYNAMUNITY
Lane Killer Cross-Fight: The first Stun, Bleed, Poison, Shock, Incinerate, Coldsnap, or Rupture Debuff inflicted onto the Attacker grants them immunity to that effect for 10 seconds. Only one of these Immunities can be gained at a time and must expire before it can be retriggered. The effects of this node lasts for this fight and the next 3 Fights.

SMORGASBORD
The Defender has a 100% chance to Purify all incoming Debuffs. Whenever the Defender purifies a Debuff, they gain a Snack Charge. Every 30 seconds, if the Defender has less than 10 Snack Charges they gain a Regen Passive restoring 25% of their health over 6 seconds. If the Defender has 10 or more Snack Charges, they gain a Degeneration Passive, removing 10% of their health over 6 seconds.

But seriously, I think most of you are being pretty unfair to OP due to his dopey arrogant attitude. By your logic there is no reason to include any node descriptions at all since we're expected to just know what they all do anyway. If a node does something, it should be in the description.

This is definitely a side effect of the design decision to slam 2 nodes together. They slammed inevitable power and power efficiency together but only explained inevitable power. Sure the argument that we are at this late of a stage in the game so we should know what it does is valid but it doesn't negate the fact that they only bothered to explain 1 of the nodes here.

How in god's name is that node description came into conversation of half explained node? Like, how? Kabam slapped 2 nodes together (i just realised) explained only 1 of them, how am I supposed to know what that other will do?

With as many nodes and effects that Kabam has put in the game at this point, as well as their sometimes poor wording, I don't think it is unreasonable to expect that every term and effect have that tool tip pop-up definition that they sometimes (and inconsistently) put on words. There are so many champs and so many nodes and such long and involved champion kit descriptions that I personally can't even learn or remember what every champion can do anymore, let alone what every node and every effect within a node does.

There is a ridiculous amount of very specific information that can be needed to know/understand to handle fights appropriately and Kabam has always done a poor job of providing it to us themselves. They just rely on players to create outside resources that we are then expected to use instead of them just providing it to us in-game.

With all the things they are doing to speed up progression and help new players catch up they should absolutely be defining and providing those pop-ups for all terms like this.

This thread is a combination of a complaint thread and players fighting amongst ourselves and was also started on a weekend though so I imagine it will either be ignored and vanish into the back pages or just be closed with no comment.
