State of game

I want us to think what's the current state of this game is ? It's not free to play anymore for sure , yea we get something boring and annoying like this month challenge for so called free rewards.

It's solid. If it was liquid or gaseous we wouldn't have been able to play it on mobile devices.

It's becoming increasingly pay to win, but to say you essentially can't progress FTP is a gross overstatement.

I'll admit, you can no longer compete at the top level FTP anymore when whales have well into double digit r5s / r2s and pretty much the entire 7* pool duped. But you can still play at a relatively high level FTP. My alt is FTP and I have fun playing it, although I'm not having fun with the amount of times im saying FTP.

At first I thought it'd be a post about everything disappearing and war ratings being a mess. But not this.

Initially the game used to be content based with extra incentive for spenders
U could either buy new stuff, or u could earn the same stuff by clearing content, AND also had the option to buy some additional amount

Now it's based on all the incentives for spenders with F2Ps always trying to catch up with them
Usually there's always a gap of 6-8 months between the F2Ps & whales.....sometimes more, sometimes less

I am not against extra incentive for spenders, but the gap IMO needs to be 2-3 months at max, not more than that

The game is still very much free to play. It's pay to advance quicker. If it wasn't free to play you'd have to pay to download the app or to use it at all. There are many accounts that are very advanced in the game who haven't spent a dime.
