Oh man that’s still a thing? I completely forgot about that. Ever since he was released he needed two different class catalysts. I can’t help but think Kabam was eventually going to release dual class champions, but nothing ever came about from it. I think he’s the only champ that has that. I don’t know if Kabam ever released anything official about it.

But seriously it’s because he is a Skill based Inhuman and I think the game was going to try and make other champs like this but it didn’t work out

Can't check atm, but I'm pretty sure Untsoppable Colossus has the same, where he needs mystic and mutant cats

I know for a fact he drops both ISO when duped

It’s to represent his Inhuman heritage (Cosmic) but he wasn’t exposed to Terrigenesis, which is how Inhumans usually unlock their powers. Instead, through training alone he was able to unlock his own innate powers without it (which is why they made him Skill). He’s the only champ to do this, the reception to the dual class idea was confusing for players so they never did it again, so Karnak gets this unique little thing which I think is fun.

You can find the dual catalyst system throughout all his ranks (although if a rank only requires one class catalyst, it will be Skill.)

I took mine to r5 the other day, and that’s what the breakdown was with the T6cc.

UC gives both ISO classes but only requires Mystic catalysts
