Input issues: block/parry

Has anyone else noticed input issues with the game, specifically block/parry? I am trying to figure out if it is my phone or the game. Very frequently I am pressing block and just getting clapped. One thing I have noticed is when I normally would tap my phone for a party seems too late and that I have to do it earlier now to be successful.

Every month immediately after an update. As someone who can generally parry on demand, I find it obnoxious going into the first few days after an update to have every parry and every block Miss. the question is why?

Performance in general is getting worse, at least for me. Might be the phone, might be the game.
I used to have to kill the game after 30 min or so of arena, now it's a few fights.
Regarding input issues, I get regularly slapped in the face because of missed parries, dex not happening, AI way faster than my swipes, etc. But that's been years at this point.

Don't worry- you're not alone. I'm getting the same thing as you and the other posters above.

I have gone from parrying when I don't even want to (trying to dash back) to basically fighting unblockable opponents sometimes.

Facing the same issues also for some reason sometimes my attacks do heavy when I try to light attack

It’s brutal. I really notice it on arena grind because of the amount of fights… but it really hurts in content when one miss can mean having to restart the mission. ESPECIALLY boss fights. A missed parry because block isn’t responding is just game over. Again I am trying to figure out and test some things out. The only thing that has worked for me is to parry early.
