Fighting Gladiator is horrible

I’m not saying he’s too hard. He’s not. The pace of fighting him is just bad. It’s clunky. It’s like the whole fight is in sand.

There seems to be a delay after you unlock it, but you will get an in game mail and then a new task/challenge to complete. Your victory before that will not count. You will also get no rewards for defeating him other than that challenge.

It has three sets.

Defeat with a mystic champion 5 times
Defeat with a tech champion 5 times
Defeat with a 'caped only' champion 5 times

No, you cannot complete two at once.

One of those 4 hits was an sp3. It's the fact that he doesn't move makes it hard to tell if the game is freezing.

It's comic accurate. He casually drifts towards his opponent and then stands there with supreme arrogance waiting to get punched.

Seriously though, I thought it was an ai trick and he was going to unload on me, but nope. Punching the **** out of him with Juggernaut was some sweet X-Men cartoon vengeance.

Just played now after reading the post. I had smooth fights using hood and im. Gladiator seemed like usual opponent. I guess that could be device or counter specific issue. You can share a video for all to understand better.

Gladiator for sure has a weird ai where he doesn't want to attack us and wants to block most of the time

It was a drag, BUT rewards were claimed way too faster. So I'll say it was not bad.

He has a node that makes buffs 40% longer, they aren’t that long normally
