Act 8.2 path rewards

I've made my way to act 8 chapter 2 to get the last few tier 6 and tier 3 I need to get my 3rd rank 4 to become paragon, and I was wondering if it was a bug that you can collect the catalyst fragment path rewards and keep them even if you don't complete the path. I only got 1, and before I got more I wanted to make sure it wasn't an exploit and get banned. If anyone has any info your help is most appreciated.

    If u quit u dont get the rewards u have to finish the quest to receive them

    Known issue. They go straight to your inventory. Nobody’s gotten banned over it, the rewards do not re-spawn and can only be collected once.

    So is it fine for me to get the rest of the fragments throughout the chapter?
