Does Kabam want lower tier alliances to quit playing war?

Relic shard buffs? That’s it?

There are so many ways to buff rewards without giving lower tiers the latest “chase items” - right now a paragon player gets better rewards with glory running map 4 AQ for a month than being a gold war alliance.

What’s the point of lower tier wars in the game economy? We are in the middle of the “join an alliance” event and you just sent a message to a bunch of players it’s not worth being in a lower alliance who plays war. … it’s better to go do other stuff in the game.

Yeah same. They really stuck the middle finger up at platinum and gold alliances. And now your just gonna see an even bigger gap between the top alliances and the chasing packs

We're a plat 2-3 group. getting a few extra 5* relic shards isn't giving us renewed excitement for this new season. This is a pathetic attempt at a buff intended for only 500 accounts. This is a new low for rewards updates from kabam. Are they going to increase BG rewards next season but only buff mysterium and above? That's essentially what they did here.
@Kabam Miike would love to know if you guys have any REAL plans for aw reward buffs. because it isn't really worth the time for rewards now.

also the post makes this seem like it targets silver alliances. It doesn't. Kabam shafted literally 99% of the playerbase here

Yeah… that certainly wasn’t my intent. If you aren’t in a top alliance, you didn’t get a buff.

My alliance is in p3 and this is just disappointing, there's not even 500 titan shards or any buff to the 7* shards, the amount of tcc remains the same -.- considering how stressful AW is, i think a tiny little buff to the rewards would not kill the game's economy

I’d like to see your guys input here. Do you honestly think the reward buffs for the top 500 players is really equal compared to the rest of the playerbase who play in lower tier rewards?
Are relic shards really a good rewards compared to the top alliances receiving 7* Titan shards and a big increase in 7* shards

Heck they didn't even buff the t2 alpha, t5 basic and t5cc. those are sooo outdated by now

Plat and below only get relics?

Okay, I mean... I know I just made a post elsewhere that said you guys need to do more to get us all excited about relics. But I was talking about engagement, not just shoving them in our faces over and over. You can't say "Hey... so relics are going to be put on hold indefinitely until we figure things out." and then turn around and say "New buffed rewards! We're giving you relics!!! You know, those things even we can't figure out yet? Aren't you psyched?!?!?!"

I mean... no. Because once again, you've given us no reason to be. This isn't engagement or marketing, you're just... including them.

Plat 1 gets 20% of a 6* Relic, 50% of a 5* relic and a single 4* relic?
Thanks, I guess, for giving us the things even you don't seem to know what to do with.

Between that and the absolute punishment managing war already is for alliances who only run two BGs; it's coming across as the improvements are only geared at the people who already have a vested passion in alliances and that you don't really seem concerned with enticing excitement in people who are kind of iffy on the game mode.

I don't want or expect a full 7* crystal for Plat and Gold - but not even a generic boost overall, like a bundle of loyalty (similar to how AQ finale gives out bundles of glory) to get people pumped about the store?

I was actually excited for the buffed rewards, but this isn't enough to get me seriously invested. I'll stick to focusing on BGs and float around in alliances that are Gold/Plat level.

Ohohohoh what a huge change in rewards for platinum. DON'T be foolish KABAM! I can't believe this reward update! ehhhh I hope that these REWARDS are a BUG like many in the game and will be fixed soon!

It does seem to be 2 different game modes. One for the 20 masters alliance and the 10 or so with a realistic chance of finishing in masters and then the rest of us bums. It would never happen but it would be nice if all the p2/p3 alliances could agree to only use 1 loyalty revives. Since the only reason for them to play war now is loyalty which you have to spend a lot of on consumables.

The rewards weren't buffed at all for anyone not in masters... 2000 4* relic crystal shards for G1. That's basically useless.

As the "war master" what do you have to say about these changes? Are they to your liking? I know your mad that haz shift nodes are still a thing but there's always the next update...

Nope. This is the rewards boost we want to make at this time. We are not able to adjust all of the rewards across every game mode, store and every tier in every update. We will make more updates in the future, but this is what we planned and all we are going to execute on at this time.
