Yes, that's how it works in real life too, you read between the lines before you buy something unless you don't care about throwing away your money cause you have a lot, which if you did you wouldn't be complaining. So yes, hope you learned something today, I didn't even plan on buying this cause I have every champ I need from there and even I tapped on preview just out of curiosity.

Weapon X was introduced prior to 2019 as a boss or something. He became available to players in later. So technically Weapon X is a 2017 or 2018 character?!

I fully agree. From the get-go, Kabam should have been clear in informing the players that Weapon X would NOT be in the selector. This is definitely a fault on Kabam's part, not the players, and may constitute as misleading marketing.

They were clear. The preview button allows you to see what champions are in the selectors. They didn't hide it. If you don't go looking for the answers, it doesn't mean they're not there.

Sigil Scarlet Witch isn't in there either but you're not concerned with her are you? These selectors aren't new. They've been around for a while and most commonly sold during cyber weekend. Weapon X wasn't in those either.

There is a long history of this. Trophy champs aren't included because they've never had traditional releases. It's why you still can't get LOL Ultron anywhere but LOL.

But forget all that logic. Kabam bad. Community always right.

Aside from the special occasion that Kabam explicitly announced her being in the arena that one time. Another example of an "X trophy champ will be available in X way for a limited time!" announcement that Kabam ALWAYS does for trophy champs lol

They use excluded when a crystal offers 6* and 5* and a specific champ in the crystal doesn’t come as a 6* version. This crystal doesn’t have it because they say exactly what you can get.

If the champs dont have a crystal release they dont get put in crystals og dp aint in crystals either rhino cyclops and ronan as a 4 was only tied to rol and lab but now seen in special cav crystals for sq, as someone said lab ultron is only from lab no where else to get at all, thanos kang weapon x and jj all exclusive to something if its legend runs mythic runs top 100 x of legend event or december gifting/banquet crystal u wont see them in any selector as they wasnt released via an arena with a crystal

Funny thing is that they were clearer in the paragraphs for the Cavalier and Grandmaster crystals:
"... which contains Cavalier Nexus Crystals with SPECIFIC 3 to 6-star Champion release year ROSTERS".

Could've been as easy as using the same wording for the Paragon deal.

There isn't any case but because OP didn't take the time to look at what's in the selectors, they think they're being scammed. It's always Kabams fault that players don't read.

Good question. It says contains selectors. The selectors can be previewed. The previews accurately list all of the contents. However, there are players who appear to be claiming that when Kabam says the offer contains selectors, if the player incorrectly guesses that selectors contain all champs released in that year, including champions that typically do not show up in selectors, the player is allowed to make that assumption and rely upon it, and has the right to ignore all additional information available as this would be placing too much of a burden on them.

Kabam gets in-game documentation wrong more often than they should, but this is a case where the offer was documented as properly as can reasonably be expected. If this is not enough for some players, they need to resign themselves to live in an uncertain world where everyone else seems to know what's going on except them.
