7* Civil Warrior vs 7* crystal

Just curious what ppl r choosing.

I highly doubt I’ll be participating in this event, but if I were to whale out I’d take the 7* crystal over Civil Warrior. Not saying he’s a bad champ, but I just don’t think I’d use him. At least in the 7* crystal I can get someone who may be of use to me

I'm still waiting to see if Kabam will answer if he's going to remain a trophy champ or eventually be added to the basic.

When you realize that other champions can do better what CW can do he is not quite useful. Howard can gain the same buffs and those expire 1 by 1, Viv Vision inflicts a passive Heal Block and she is also inmune to nullify, HB can reduces the OAA from the opponent not only on atack but defense too and his power drain and power lock is probably more powerful than CW. I don't see any scenario where someone would choose him except if he is your fav champ. With that, the rest of options seems far better IMO.

😭7* crystal for me...maybe the buff for CW will be insane, but I don't even use the one I have as a 6*

2) if you’re talking about wasting units to get energy refills, then that essentially defeats the purpose of doing it without spending units/$?

I fail to see your point here, a ton of comments on the thread were also stating the same thing i said referencing the fact of needing to spend to reach that steep of points

You don’t have to buy Energy Refills, that’s just a little more safe to avoid others stealing your Kills. But if u are active when AQ starts, in the morning and around lunch you won’t need Energy Refills. Or you could just talk with your mates and everyone gets a fixed path.

Plus I have thousands, many thousands of free hoarded Units from my monthly EQ Autoplay Runs, Platinpool Crystals and other Events. I do not consider spending free Units as Whaling or Cashing … especially cause you get the spent Units back 1:1 from the Milestones. In the end it‘s +/- 0 Units.

(and yeah, BG Objectives were badly timed, guess it was never intended to get more than 1000 Pts. from BG Objectives, so everyone who gets 1200 can feel lucky)

Assume you do 20 fights in AQ thats 1500 for 5 days

BGs is 1000

Loyalty Selector is 1000

That adds up to 3500, how are you getting to the last objective?

Edit: nvm its 8 days (10 but two aq off days), i wonder if i can still get it if im currently at 1000 points with AQ done

It appears that at least some bundles purchases are required, and that is surely by design. The generic 7* crystal is superior. Most of the champs in the pool are better than Civil Warrior.
